Philz Coffee

For the corporate coffee company they are ok.
My favorite part of this place is in the same mall as my Asian market, trader Joe, Daiso, and udon place. Plenty of parking✌️
Coffee is ok — not speciality so I’m ok. Seven sea around the corner has much better coffee. This place has very good pastries. Croissants aren’t crispy outside because they probably buy from other business.
Staff were nice.

First time I’ve ever been to this place and exact location so I was planning on getting a cold coffee for the day. I had approached the counter where the register was at and checked the menu and saw that iced coffees didn’t have its own section, instead each beverage was tailored to their own names. When I asked the guy with long hair and a ponytail what iced coffee he can recommend me with he condescendingly responded “look at the menu”. I thought I heard incorrectly at first because it was just a recommendation not a “where can I find this?” kind of question. Throughout this interaction I just ordered whatever caught my eye at first and remained a calm composure. I’d like to say how I’ve worked at a customer service job before and this is possibly one of the worst ways you can respond to any paying customer. I had no problem with any of the other employees except that guy. I’m not surprised, as I see that this guy has a lot of bad reviews. Anyway, coffee was mediocre but dude had an attitude problem, I would reconsider him as an employee for this franchise.

I made an error on my order this morning, (maybe because I didn’t have my morning coffee yet) and they were understanding and promptly remade my order.

They addressed me by my name, and reassured that the order was coming out. They of course, kindly asked if any modifications were needed to ensure the taste and quality was there- YES!

The location is tucked into the area near Mendocino Farms and parking was kind of tight, but the experience here was worth it.

Thank you again team, for providing great service and I hope the Philz Coffee Company addresses this!

I had such a great experience at the Alicia Pkwy Philz location thanks to Darwin! My sister accidentally sent my order to the wrong location (which I didn’t even realize), but Darwin noticed I had been waiting a while. Instead of just sending me away, they kindly insisted on making my order right then and there, even though it was during the busy morning rush. They were so nice, understanding, and really turned what could’ve been a frustrating situation into a great one. Excellent service all around!

1st time at Philz Coffee! It was recommended to us by some friends.

It is a cool little coffee place in Mission Viejo. Some inside and outside seating available.

Staff were super kind, patient, and helpful as we were trying to decide what to try on our first visit.

I ended up getting the Honey Haze ice coffee and our friend grabbed the Iced Mint Mojito. Excellent flavors.

I tried to sip as slowly as possible lol.

Definitely a place worth checking out!

I can't afford to buy coffee all the time but when I do treat myself, it's always going to be Philz. It feels good to walk into a place that is so warm and welcoming, especially in OC. And the folks who work here are always just as great as the coffee is! And thank you, to the owner or manager, whoever is responsible for flying the flag in your shop. It gives me peace to know I am walking into a safe space when I see that flag flying.

I come in for a pickup and they completely ignored me. No welcome or greeting in any way. I tell them I have a pickup and they just stared at me and looked at the counter😶. I never have done a pickup order before so I was just wanted to make sure.

I love this coffee shop. The staff are wonderful and always smiling. They look like they have fun too. I like how each drink is actually made specifically for you and they like you to try it before you leave so it's just right.

I love the workers here, and the coffee made at this particular location is exceptional! I usually stop here to get a coffee/ taco before working at the mission library, and this place always makes me look forward to those work days. Thank you! Also, I recommend the ecstatic extra sweet & extra creamy because I like my drinks super sweet, but it's not for everyone.
