Rubino's Pizza

Pizza was amazing, the staff was so friendly! We will definitely be back!

The dough is the perfect balance of sweetness and bite. Perfectly flaky and crisp on the crust and base of the pizza with the perfect soft and chewy texture of the middle of the dough. The sauce is the perfect combo of sweet with bit of acidity of the tomatoes. Plus the pizza isn’t drenched in oil on the base. Don’t just try the place for the pizza itself, ask about the history!

Really good pizzas. We like the Italian sub served hot, good stuff.

This is the perfect example of a hole in the wall restaurant. Amazing service, looks like an old time pizza parlor. The pizza had that perfect cheese pull. Took a bit but was totally worth it!!!!

We love Rubinos. Have been customers for a loooong time. We used to go to a closer one at Margeurite and Portola. But, that location closed. We gladly go a bit further to get take out pizza, pastas, garlic bread and salads from this Rubinos. Great food.

Pizza was decent. The crust was crispy and not soggy at all. We got a jalapeno, anchovy, and sausage pizza. Not spectacular flavor-wise.
The owner is nice. Great to support a family business.

We order for pickup regularly. Meatball Sub is THE BEST! Pizza crust is perfectly soft AND chewy. Tomato Sauce has a perfect depth of seasonings - with a bright tomato tang and just a hint of sweetness. I would love to see the interior updated, but the kitchen is very clean and we consider Rubino’s as our family’s pizza spot!

Don’t trust prices - website said Jumbo special was $33.75 - but they said prices went up 4 weeks ago and charged me $37.00 with no regrets. We have come here monthly for years. No more and hunting for a real pizza place

Local Mission Viejo Pizza place with great tasting pizza. Not too thin and not to thick, it had a perfect amount of cheese and healthy amount of marinara sauce which I like. First time here and really enjoyed the large hot pizza with Jalapeños.
