We order for pickup regularly. Meatball Sub is THE BEST! Pizza crust is perfectly soft AND chewy. Tomato Sauce has a perfect depth of seasonings - with a bright tomato tang and just a hint of sweetness. I would love to see the interior updated, but the kitchen is very clean and we consider Rubino’s as our family’s pizza spot!

I'll tell ya right now, this is my top 5 pizza!! This little spot in mission Viejo deserves 6/5 stars!! The dough is crispy and something with the sauce just makes it so good! If you haven't tried, go give it a shot! Worth it

Place definitely has that great pizza joint feel about it. Ordered 2 slices, one cheese and one pepperoni. Got the cheese slice first and holy moly so much cheese. Scalding hot bubbling cheese with a hint of canned red sauce with semi cooked dough. Got through about half of the slice, threw it out and told them forget about the other slice and left. Actually took me back to my elementary school days when it was pizza day and you'd ask yourself, "you call this pizza?"

Don’t trust prices - website said Jumbo special was $33.75 - but they said prices went up 4 weeks ago and charged me $37.00 with no regrets. We have come here monthly for years. No more and hunting for a real pizza place

Local Mission Viejo Pizza place with great tasting pizza. Not too thin and not to thick, it had a perfect amount of cheese and healthy amount of marinara sauce which I like. First time here and really enjoyed the large hot pizza with Jalapeños.

From my earliest days as a teenager in Irvine during the 80's I have been a long time loyal customer of the Rubino's restaurants.I only just recently discovered that THIS is the one and only remaining location of the Rubino's pizza empire from the 80's-90's!! It's awesome and amazing to see such an incredible institution STILL thriving today!! To see the other reviews and read about the continuing appreciation by so many people to this day is a testament to the quality and service of Rubino's pizza.Myself, I have been, and will continue to be a huge fan and supporter of Rubino's and look forward to my next slice of heaven!! ??❤️❤️❤️UPDATE: I went back and discovered how magical the pizza is after alllll these years!!! Same deliciously light and crunchy crust, with a pillowy doughy chewy end crust that is begging for dipping into ranch dressing. The toppings are fresh and delicious but the cheese is incredible!! So frickin good. Truly a testament to maintaining the best quality ingredients and baking practices!! This pizza is definitely my number one place and will continue to be my number one favorite pizza place!!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available as well as gluten free style pizza crust.Kid-friendliness: Kid specific items are availableParking: Plenty of free parking

I thank thank you. This restaurant owner went way beyond customer service. Thank you so much for making four delicious extra large pizzas and I’m going beyond kindness. By the way the pizzas were delicious definitely recommend this business. They got me out of a pickle quickly need to pizzas and have them ready at a moments notice and they weren’t even open yet. Thank you so much highly recommend this restaurant pizza is great and what more can I say the customer service was excellent!!

Small pizza shop with delicious food. We get pizzas, salads, spaghetti dinner, garlic bread....ALL outstanding. We used to go to the Marguerite and Portola spot, sadly it closed. So we go to this one. So glad this one is still going.

Great place if the owner is working at the time of your order, otherwise, get dinner elsewhere. Without the owner on hand, declared time to get your order is typically double that. I’ve had to remind them of missing items all too often and on one occasion, they gave my order to someone else and tried to give it to me after the dining-in customer had opened the box. Attitude seems to be do just enough to hand off whatever then go hang out in the back with the bros. I’ve ordered from here numerous times over the last 3 or so years but it has slipped far enough that I’ve decided the ~5 other pizza joints in the area are worth investigating - so far, pretty good choices.
