Haven't been to a Rubios since they closed a bunch of locations. Won't be coming back to this one. After waiting 35 minutes for my order. I got home with my to go order. The beans were burnt and gross. Disappointed used to love Rubios....

Came for the $2.50 Tuesday Fish Tacos and the kid's build your own taco plate with Mahi. My kid said it was the best taco ever (rice, beans, cheese, and lettuce.... she doesn't even normally eat lettuce!) Went back for a 3rd taco. Please don't close like the others!

Today marks the end of my birthday month, but don't worry, I've got enough birthday swag to last me till the turkey comes out in November.

I love Rubio's! Having said that, this might be the most dysfunctional Rubio's I've ever been to. It is always 30 minutes plus to get your food. I can't tell if they are consistently overrun or the employees are stroke victims. Either way, God bless you all in your trials.

The street shrimp tacos were out of this world! The order took awhile because of a large to go order. Manager offered the food for free because of that and we declined. It was worth the wait.

$9 for a bean and cheese burrito. Let me repeat that. $9 for a bean and cheese burrito, NO PROTEIN

The food was great, but the windows were dirty, and they didn't bother to pull down the shades when the late afternoon sun was beating in.

Vegetarian options: My favorite dish is the Veggie Quesadilla. The next best dish is the Beyond Beef Taco.

I came in and ordered vegetarian nachos, and my receipt clearly stated no meat. However I ended up with chicken in my food anyway, which would have made me very ill had I not tasted it and spit it out. I worked for Rubios myself many years ago (different location) and because it was a minimum wage job, nobody put in much effort or cared about customer's dietary restrictions. However, now that food workers are getting paid almost 3X as much as when I used to work there, you would think some effort and care would actually be put in. Especially when the customer expressed up front their dietary restriction and concern to the person (teenager) taking the order. Or hire people that will care and pay attention to detail.
