Classic diner experience, with great food at reasonable prices. I had the guacamole burger and my wife had the bacon cheeseburger. We both walked away quite full. They gave us a fun puzzle to keep our daughter occupied, as the ceiling mounted trainset also held her attention. The service was top notch as well. We were seated quickly and the food came quickly. The strawberry lemonade was amazing with real strawberries swirling around the bottom of the glass.
Vegetarian options: There were many vegetarian options with a visible V next to them for easy finding.
Kid-friendliness: They gave my daughter a folding car puzzle to keep her attention.
Parking: Large two story garage right near the entrance to Ruby's.
Wheelchair accessibility: First floor and two entrances assure easy wheel chair access.
Jaime was our server. He's on top of it, very helpful and courteous! Food was really good... Green beans are the best!
Ruby's is about the only place left you can get a veggie burger. Like everywhere else, you can also get an impossible burger, but unlike all the others, they still serve veggie burgers. Most vegetarians are not looking for something that is trying to taste like meat. Like a lot of other vegetarians I know, we love the garden burger veggie patty just the way it is. Unfortunately, they don't have it as an option on the door dash, grubhub or Uber eats menus so you have to go to the restaurant to get it. But often times it's worth it. ?
Food was ok but the service and atmosphere made up for it. It was a special lunch for me and my daughter. We shared a burger, fries, and best of all a delicious shake.
Great place for kids to get their malt or shake as a reward for good behavior. Got the cookies and cream malt for them which they loved. Burger and fries were good. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they usually put the malt in a glass cup with tin and they put in little white cups. Also the train wasn’t on which is a must for the kiddos. Should also have crayons for the kids. But food was good and we left happy.
Not eating there again- ever! Ordered chicken tenders and fries for the grandchild, came pretty quick...for a reason. Chicken tenders were raw inside. Wague excuse from waiter. Shakes were fine, but not gonna risk my family health there
Great diner experience. We had burger and fries. The food was very good and service was fast.
What a great family dining experience we had today! Jaime was the best server ever! Fine dining restaurants should take notes from his level of care and service. Francisco was also amazing ? What a well-run location not to mention the food was as outstanding. You can make simple food soooo tasty! We will definitely be back. Thanks!
Had the fish and chips. It was good, not oily. The Cole slaw was very good. Only issue was we were sitting by the entrance and the cold air filtered in, but if you don't mind that or get a sit towards the back, it's good for a quick meal.
Kid-friendliness: Old fashion bubble gym machine, kids menu
Parking: It's the mall, lots of parking but mat take a minute to find on a busy day
I didn't know they sang happy birthday. It was my daughter's they sang and gave her an ice cream ? sundae.

While the wait staff is friendly & hardworking, the food is not good. Very dissatisfied!
My family and I ate there yesterday and our service was very good the food was very good and worth the price.
Used to be my favorite restaurant, everything changed. The fries, that used to be my favorite fries like, ever, are different. The shakes changed. I used to get the peanut butter cup shake which was chocolate with peanut butter, but now it’s on brand Reese’s. And don’t get me wrong, I love Reese’s, but it’s not the shake that I go there for. My aunt and cousin went the other day, and my cousin’s chicken was completely burnt, and my aunt’s chili was just beans and water. And it’s just at the Mission Viejo location! What’s going on???
I visited her. I enjoyed the service and the individual’s inside. I will be returning shortly. Here is me after my meal
Our host was amazing, she was so friendly. The chili was so good, actually everything was good just the Gish and hips was little over fry.
