It was my first time eating here. I ordered a Philadelphia roll and it did not come with avocado. I then asked them if they can put avocado in it and they said yes sure. I had ordered a super salmon roll, which is fried. I ate one piece and I did not like it so I put it to the side. The owner or one of the sushi chefs comes up to me and says we can no longer give you service. I say what he says we can no longer give you service. I say why he says because you don’t like the food. Never in my life have I been told that and I even told him that I was going to pay for it. That wasn’t a concern. He embarrassed me in front of customers and made a scene. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Stay away from this place, completely rip off. we ordered a Philadelphia sushi and we got bunch of cheap crab meat and very little cheese. But the worst part is that the salmon on top of the sushi, it was tiny pieces than any other place. they charge a lot in exchange for nothing good.

Samurai sushi is a gem of a restaurant in South OC! The owner Gina is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. So accommodating! The food is fantastic, and they have had the same chefs for years, so very consistent as well. Great selection, good prices. Buy one get one half off M-Th is such a deal. See you again soon my favorite sushi joint!!
