Good variety of paninis. We had the "Bird" turkey and the "Rubennini" and homemade lentil soup. My grandson tried the grilled cheese with hot dog inside. All the food was delicious and the service is excellent.

We visited here many months ago, and enjoyed the paninis and service from Sherry. She even gave my kids a complimentary scoop of ice cream. They really liked this place & keep asking when we're going back =)

We've been coming here occasionally for a few years. Recently the food has shot up in cost. $40 for 2 sandwiches and sodas.Don't go at lunchtime if you value your time. They are soooo slow. Sat 45min waiting on a Friday and they hadn't even started our food. So I got a refund and went elsewhere.They play god awful jazz music and the place looks very tired and dated.The food is actually good though. If you can get any.

The Houston is my favorite and go to panini here. Love that it’s family owned. Yeah service is not as fast as a franchise place but the sandwiches are worth the wait IMO. Also, just call in or order online if you have an issue with the wait, that’s what I do and it’s never been an issue. I stop here once a week at least.

I've seen to this restaurant twice now. The first time it was busy and the tables were full so I gave them a pass on how long it took for them to fill my one sandwich order, which took 30 minutes. I went a second time assuming the first time I went was just a bad day for them. It turns out I was wrong! We were the only people in the restaurant when we place our two sandwich order, after 20 minutes I asked the guy who was making the sandwiches what was taking so long. He actually asked me what I ordered.. I told him it is the only order in, because there is no one in the restaurant! Then here tells me the girl screwed up my order and that the new sandwich are cooking which was not so because from that point I proceeded to what him make both sandwiches and watched him put them on the grill then brought them over in what seemed to take 5 minutes. It was like the guy was stoned he never apologized for the delay and acted as though I was putting him out.... And don't order the crouton fries they literally are two pieces of toast cut into strips which cost $6

Sherry was so absolutely wonderful and kind. She welcomed us in on a rainy day and provided us a delicious warm meal. She gave us samples of the soup which was so nice of her. I ended up ordering lentil soup and it came with these adorable bread hearts! Those made my day. My husband and I both got The Manhattan sandwich. It was so yummy! And Definitely order the Skimmers Potatoe salad as the side, it's so packed full of flavor! I ordered a salad as well which came with super fresh lettuce and the best garlic dressing. 1000/10

Skimmers used to be amazing. Well....not now. The new owner is defensive and obviously has not run a restaurant before. She loves to slander old owners Mary. It took 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches. She got very defensive when I said "What is taking so long " also I asked for straws and she angrily put them in my to go bag. We used to love the Sicilian sandwich with meatballs. The sandwich now is disgusting . Way too much weird sauce and a gross amount of cheese. I barely could eat half. It's a shame because the place used to be great, don't go now because they may have kept the menu, but the food is just gross.

great food,great service .... they even serve old-school thrifty's ice cream!!! my son always wants to stop for their ice cream and sandwiches. Their panini sandwiches are so delicious: locally baked artisan bread, piled high with fine deli meats, fresh veggies, and gooey cheeses. Oh, and don't forget their signature house-made spread--it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth.

I have been a customer here for many years. I have never had such terrible service.The girl that took my order had no personality or customer service skills.I waited 45 minutes for my order. Multiple customers asked to have their orders canceled or to have them to go b/c the wait was so long.I recieved my order and it was completely messed up. I was so hungry I didn’t want to say anything. The cold sandwich I ordered was on a panini, which I know a lot of people love, but I don’t and that’s not what I ordered. My Mary’s favorite salad wasn’t tossed and the entire top layer was mega feta cheese. It was complete overload. Anyway, probably over the top, but honestly I won’t be coming back. Here anytime soon…..
