This is definitely one of the worst burgers I've had, burgers weren't cheap either. And they use mayonnaise in the burgers instead of dressing. Agh!!!

Tasted like a charbroiled burger not smashed... I think it's just food court quality paying for the smashed sign. I love this chain but am disappointed with this location.

Obviously the food was good it’s smash burgers and has sustained itself in a mall but geez louise was the service terrible both of the girls working the counter were just rude and obviously lazy and then they proceeded to take 23 minutes to make 2 burgers i also watched them make several to go orders while no one was there to pick it up and i had stood there the whole 23 minutes waiting for the food also they forgot the shake i ordered. anyways foods good just needs new employees at least the ones workin 5pm on saturdays

Tasted just like Carl's Jr. In and out and the Habit is better. No seasonings, no crispness like other smash burgers that we have had. 1 and done.

Walked into this place expecting a nice juicy burger, disappointed to say that when I was handed my patty and it was in fact, smashed. They took their name to another level, one I don't like. Found a strand of hair or two in my ranch dressing, it tasted blonde. Next time, I prefer my hair brunette, like I like my men.

Best fast food burger in town ! Double w cheese and fresh fixins exquisite . Fries above average . Eager , friendly , helpful lady at the counter today 11-20-23 lunch hour . Very impressed ! My wife got a nice grilled chicken sandwich . Try it , you'll love it .

I was at The Shops at Mission Viejo to pick up a Mac at the Apple Store. I had to wait an hour, so as I was cruising around the mall the hunger pangs for lunch kicked in. After circling the food court a couple of times I stopped at Smashburger for the Crispy Chicken Sandwich that I have not had before. Once decided I stood in line to order and the line moved quickly. The sandwich and a Diet Coke were all I ordered as I was not in the mood for fries. (I know, right? Who's not in the mood for fries?) The cashier was helpful as I wanted to break a $50 that has been in my wallet forever since no one likes to take anything larger than a $20 it seems. They had no problem doing it but the manager had to quickly step in. With my Diet Coke and the "order ready" buzzer in hand, I went and found a table. As I saw people that came after me getting their orders I was about to go to the counter to ask where my sandwich was when the buzzer went off. It was 15 mins which seems like a long time for fast food. Went back to my table and opened the wrapper to reveal the sandwich. I did not realize Smashburger also meant smash bun! But that was the case. Beyond the smashed bun it didn't look bad. Not perfect, but not bad. Biting into it surprised me a bit since it was incredibly hot. Yikes. Had to chew and try breathing in at the same time. You know the drill. While I was glad it was hot I did let the chicken cool off a bit before trying again. Continuing to eat, I quickly realized why it took so long to get my sandwich. They wanted to make sure the chicken was equally dried out all the way through. The outside looked nicely browned so not sure how they dried out the chicken so much. Ate 1/2 and threw it away. I didn't feel like going back and discussing the situation with them, so I just left. My bad for not checking Yelp before I stopped there. On the bright side, the the Diet Coke was great. Go Somewhere Else. Eat Something Different. HAVE FUN!

Unfortunately disappointing 2nd time in a row...wrong items delivered via Doordash and they won't take responsibility either. Paid for items I didn't get. Sad that Smashburger in Aliso Viejo closed as they always got it right.

Server nice but 38 dollars for double turkey burger with pastrami and chili pastrami fries with pie ? And burger only has a little pastrami as well as fries smh never again.

I love me a good burger and boy did this place deliver! My gosh the burger was on point! The patty was full of flavour and a little crispy. The buns were spongey and soaking with saucy goodness. Even the veggies stood out which is p rare for a fast food burger join ngl. Also being located in the mall it’s great for a quick meal or way to full up if your group is on a shopping binge and ya need a break. Highly recommend this spot! Also staff is polite and helpful. Def prefer this over other fast food or fast casual options.
