Stopped by on the way from SD to LA for a molcajete craving. Ordered the molcajete mixto, and it was a massive portion for a great price. Also got ceviche as an appetizer, but it only arrived a solid 10 minutes after the molcajete, which was a little weird timing-wise. To close out, we got the flan...this was a big mistake lol. It tasted stale and had a weird, fridge-like smell that was a major turnoff. Skip the flan, but the molcajete was definitely the star of the meal!

I stopped by for breakfast and ordered the chilaquiles with steak—absolutely delicious! The chips were perfectly sauced, topped with tender steak, fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and queso fresco. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture.
I also tried their café de la olla, which was freshly made and had just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. It paired perfectly with the meal.
Overall, the food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

Great breakfast spot! I was looking for a place that served chilaquiles. This restaurant recently started offering breakfast. The food was delicious and nicely presented. I ordered the green chilaquiles, a café de la olla, and a mimosa, next time I’ll be trying the mimosa flight. Service was excellent: friendly and attentive. I was also recommended the calamari and camarones a la diabla, so I’ll definitely be coming back to try them for lunch or dinner.

We came in for happy hour and had a great time. The food and drinks were crazy good and the service was superb. I recommend the watermelon margarita 🤤 I also had my first ‘cantarito’ (pictured), which was delicious.

It was hot. The air was stuffy. Terrible service. Our glasses of water were empty most of the time. We tried to get a check. Couldn’t flag down someone, so I had to walk up to the kitchen to ask. I couldn’t find someone to get the card so I had to walk up to the kitchen to get it paid. Honestly, pretty bad. The order got messed up - got flour tortillas instead of corn. The food and prices were just ok. Not terrible. Not great. I usually give high ratings. This place is the exception. Came in super happy. Left the place extremely annoyed.

Food delicious was upscale Mexican. The island bar is a focal point of a classy interior. My dining companion had lobster and shrimp enchiladas, and I had a carnitas chile relleno. The lobster in the enchiladas was the real deal cooked baja style. My chile relleno was baked and the carnitas stuffing was flavorful and authentic.
Two drawbacks here were noise and staff treating the dining room as if it were a back of the house area. Noise from the street on this corner location is LOUD. Staff was ferrying supplies from the parking lot right through the dining area and staff were having conversations right in front of guests as if they were in the kitchen. At this price point you can find a more pleasant dining experience though the food was on point.

Party of 10
One of us orders the chicken salad
Chicken was drier than the Sahara desert. It’s almost tasting like it was a day or two day old breast they just cut up and put on the plate. The service was subpar. The restaurant is empty they don’t really attend to you as much as you’d think. Paying their ridiculously expensive prices isn’t the issue, At least make the food digestible and the service more tolerable. Not coming back. Make the wise decision if you are planning to come with your family

Read the reviews—overpriced and tastes okay. The food looks appealing but lacks any flavor that makes sense. The cheese enchiladas were covered in basically marinara, the salsa was way too tomato-y and did not taste like salsa at all, and the service took way too long to take our orders and then way too long to bring out the food. There was maybe 4 tables when we walked in and they didnt get their food for about 20 minutes, and then ours took about 40 minutes, and then it was bland and cost 3x as much as good mexican food. Eat anywhere else.
The best Mexican authentic food in Orange County! From pescado zarandeado, tacos, enchiladas, mole, everything is delicious. The drinks are very good and great customer service.
Best Mexican Food in OC! Food is always amazing and the service is the best. Today they had mariachi and we hope we can come back soon. Also, the owner is always around Ali t sure everything is perfect. Definitely recommend!
