Food and service both excellent!!! Ordered one barbacoa taco & had to order a second because it was so delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Mexican food.

This place is a hidden gem in Modesto. If you haven't tried Frida's you need to. I've drove by it many times I don't know why I never stopped after having lunch there today with my family. We found a place that's different than any other in Modesto superior in flavor superior service. Overall I would give them 100 stars for the way they treated my family and the service the food. They truly are an amazing establishment. If you're driving by Frida's stop in and give them a try don't pass by. Oh yeah, almost forgot the flan is just delicious

My favorite mexican restaurant in the area. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Love the multitas, enchiladas, frescas...yum. Even if you order from doordash food is good. Downside but not towards service and food is parking lot is small and weekday afternoons it's hard to find parking due to school nearby with parents using the lot for pick up

Wow this place was 100% worth the stop. We were driving back to Washington from California and it was time for lunch! I'm so glad I found this place. The tacos were amazing. The consume was amazing! Ohhh and the green avocado salsa took it up another notch. I could drink that stuff! My spicy loving daughter was a fan as well! They were also super welcoming and they had a fun candy dish by the register.

I am so glad we found this place! Everything was delicious and we received great service. The quesa birria tacos were out of this world! I was full after eating two, but wanted more! The micheladas were good and I really enjoyed all the Frida Kahlo paintings and murals!

We ordered a Michelada red chilaquiles and quesabirrias... everything was FIREEE! I live in the bay, and we have multiple spots that TRY to sell quesabirrias but this place was BY FAR the best place I've gotten them from, hands down! The chilaquiles were so authentic, just like my grandmothers. The michelada was mixed perfectly, not too much clamato and the shrimp were just right! Might sound like im over hyping this place but I don't care! I am definitely coming back!

First time ordering take out and it was great. My partner and I had the enchilada plate with the cheese empanada. In my opinion both dishes had enough flavor and spice (as requested). Usually Mexican restaurants have a very bland microwaved taste on their food. But this place is definitely not one of them. We had chips and salsa as we waited for our order. The only thing missing was the napkins and cutlery. Which to our unfortunate surprise were not placed with our order. Other than that customer service was great as well as their food. Definitely recommend this establishment to anyone stopping by.

Came here looking for good Chilaquiles and man they did not disappoint! They're were plenty busy with lots of people watching football and having some micheladas (definitely have my eye on one of those for next time). We had an order of the chorizo, desayuno burrito with chorizo and Chilaquiles and it was all delicious! Service was fast and very attentive we will definitely be coming back.

I am not from Modesto so I really wasn't sure where the good places to get Mexican food! It was around 10:15am not many Mexican restaurants are open yet (at least according to Yelp). I was wanting a breakfast burrito (starving because I had fasted 15 hours prior). I found this little place and didn't see any breakfast burritos on the menu but I got their quesobirria tacos and oh my gosh the flavors!!! So delicious! I could barely finish 2. They stuff those bad boys! Food was fresh, side onions, radish, and cilantro was fresh. The soup/consome was so YUM! The shells were crispy and crunchy. Just delicious. Restaurant was clean/staff was super friendly.
