This restaurant needs a remodel. Smells dingy. The tabletops were sticky and old, so were the chairs and carpet. My sandwich was okay, but my fries were cold. Service was slow too.

Togo order. This Applebees is a joke. Their district manager really said deal with you lol. Manager Trina on site was trying to help offer gift cards and to remake the food. But come on. That’s how yall run that establishment, so unsafe and dangerous food handling.

My waitress was OUTSTANDING, her name is Molly and we absolutely loved her.
We love Applebees and come here often… the food is never this bad. Whichever cook was on shift during lunch at 2pm on Thursday the 30th of Jan was not paying attention to the food. Hopefully he isn’t working if we come back.

Horrible service, the server & the host were very rude and had a nasty attitude, and the food was really bad, made my stomach upset and hurt. Never had this problem with the riverbank, Ca location, this was our first time visiting this location (sisk rd) and it was the worst, completely ruined our night.I Do not recommend going here.

my friend and I decided to try their $9.99 deal burger with an unlimited fries and drink. we both orded same burgers with extra crispy fries and l ordered their iced raspberry tea. our waitress returned with our order. and she asked if we need anything else. I ordered extra fries and iced tea. she brought a soggy barely fried fries and a full glass of ice with barely any PLAIN tea. I mentioned to her that the fries she brought is soggy and asked her to bring me an extra crispy. she never came back. we could not even pay for our meal. on a way out asked their host if we can pay to him. He asked our waitress to come over to get our pay. And my friend and I both noticed that our waitress didn't even looked at me, she was always addressing and facing my friend. And we both got the feeling that she didn't like me because of my accent or maybe because I ordered a refill.
They should not advertise an unlimited fries and drink, if they don't want us to order a refill. Bad experience. My friend and I will not be back. There are plenty of other restaurants who would like to have our business

Unfortunately, the last four to five times I've been here I haven't had the best experience ( I used to love coming here), with the last being the worst and the final straw.
I won't go into too much detail, but seating is outdated and uncomfortable in some spots, they're out of things on the menu constantly.
The servers have been hit or miss, but the last one was awful. I'm pretty easy to please, but this server brought incorrect order, missing a dish, we had to ask several times for refill, and to end, double charged me for a dish.

I'll probably just try the one in Riverbank next time.

Just left.

Everyone's fries were cold, including mine on a sizzling cast iron. I'm not sure how that was possible. The food took a very long time to come out and had clearly cooled.

I got their hot honey chicken cast iron dish. The chicken was clearly a filet of a full sized breast. First time I've eaten somewhere and left as hungry as when I got there. The chicken was cold and dry. The only hot part of that meal was the cast iron and the mushroom and onions under the chicken.

Our server was awesome, and the only good part to this dinner

Go to Chili's instead. They are awesome.

Never had Applebee's before. They seated me and nobody came to offer me food or drink. Staff seemed like they were trying to avoid eye contact. Eventually I just got up and left.

Update: The GM reached out. I declined their offer for gift cards, but will give the restaurant a second chance when I'm in the area.

Parking: There are Tesla and chargepoint electric vehicle chargers in the parking lot by Best Buy. The first hour on the chargepoint is free, at 6kw.

Service sucked sharolin id everyone and after realizing one of us had an an expired id she gave us horrible experience and then we called her manager Trina that was rude from beginning knowing we come from a restaurant industry we understand how id works but she was rude and denied us drinks but yet they accept fake ids so that was a slap in the face so your telling me if I show you a fake id is better than a expired is whatever the reason was your wrong for accepting a fake id over an expired one 👍

Had the Oriental Grilled Chicken Salad 🥗 very disappointed 😞 😕 the grilled chicken taste like it had freezer burn and it was dry 😑 the salad 🥗 didn't taste fresh and had an after taste 🤢 that wasn't very pleasant.

Applebee's, you need to do better, or you're going to go belly up like everyone else is.

Absolutely disgusting restaurant. From the service to the restaurant and the food. All around a very unpleasant experience. Being a server myself, I appreciate great customer service anywhere being a paying customer.. this place right off the bat was very unpleasant. The host to the server to the food. Rude and gross. The restaurant smells so bad. The tables and the floors even the windows, dirty. Filthy. This place definitely needs a renovation on the staff and facility!

Waste of tiiiime!! "It'll be a five minute wait for a table or booth but you can sit in the bar area." Fails to tell us that the bar area includes the surrounding tables and that it's open seating yet tells the group after us. We over hear so I find a table. Waiting another 10 minutes. No one brought us a menu so we just left.
