Ahhhh...the smell of crabs and shrimp permeate It may seem that it is expensive but a $54.00 bag of a whole crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes on a sauce of your choice is a bargain. It satisfies 2 people and is absolutely delicious. You will be able eat caveman style and there will be a mess at the end. How perfect! Oh, and put your phones away or be sad that it went swimming in sauce.

I wouldn’t have had a problem with my visit until it was time to leave. The manager on the shift should have came out to our table and mentioned they were going to charge us gratuity for a friend stopping by while we were waiting for our tab and boxes. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. as well as charging us for a refill. Stating her manager told her to charge us. “Kanhchala” was very RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL & quite SNOBBING about me asking for my 8 cents. Saying I DESPERATELY need my change back. KEEP in mind she didn’t ask if I wanted my change back. She just thought she could keep it. Proper server etiquette you ALWAYS ask if they want their change back no matter HOW much the amount it. That is considered STEALING. Am I allowed to go into their tip jar and take what I think we should have gotten back. NO. Very wrong of her and Bag o Crab needs to do a better job of hiring people who can deal with situations in a proper manner. Because she walked away from the situation with an attitude and rolling her eyes. SHE did not deserve the gratuity tip because she gave very poor service. Kanhchala had a different employee go to her purse and take out the 8 cents because kanhchala claimed she didn’t have any change. The girl had long hair, glasses with a white sweater on. She was also laughing about the situation. That shows VERY POOR waitressing skills and that falls back on the managers as well. Bag O Crab do better. Here’s a picture of our waitress.

Kanhchala is the worst server! She didn't give the change back, until I HAD asked for it. She was laughing when I asked for it. The employee from the front had to get change front her own wallet. Kanhchala charged extra for a refill too, because supposedly it was a ordered by a visitor that ordered nothing. One of our friends didn't want to talk because she had food in her mouth so she took that refill as a whole new order.

Truly a unique dining experience, especially if you order your meal in a bag. If you do, I strongly suggest getting your shrimp peeled; otherwise you'll be pulling heads, feet, and skins off all night (and it's kinda gross). The food tasted great and you get a lot. It is pricey, but with crab and seafood that's not surprising. Eating out of the bag is a MESSY experience. They give you disposable bibs and gloves, but you're still going to get sauce everywhere (wear short sleeves!) The server was very attentive and helpful, and the robot butler that helps deliver your food adds further to the novelty and fun. Not sure I would want to order mine in a bag again; eventually I got tired of EVERYTHING being soaked in the same spice. I do hate to think how much additional plastic waste the bags create (they double-bag as well) so hopefully they have a way to recycle or otherwise reduce the waste. But overall it was definitely a fun place I'd like to try again.

My husband and I were super excited to try this place. We finally got an opportunity to the food was good our waitress was attentive. It was all going well until our food arrived on the little robot which amused my children unfortunately they did not tell us that there may be 2 orders on the robot so we took all the food and started to dine. Another waitress came over and rudely started telling us that we took another order I apologize and said oh we didn't realize there were 2 orders there she rudely stated well did you even look at the order slip why would I look at the slip the robot came to our table. Fortunately it was the clam chowder and we had set it aside the rude waitress took it and left. She needs more people skills or maybe not be on the floor dealing with customers my waitress Claudia was amazing at handling the situation. The interaction ruined the rest of our dinning experience. Some people should not be helping people.

The experience at this restaurant in my opinion could’ve been better. The waitress was very attentive, however when it was time to order she discouraged us to get the bag because it in he opinion it was too much food for my husband and I. I tried working with her and she just kept discouraging me saying it was too much food.We ordered sandwiches and when the little robot arrived a different waitress came and did not check the sandwiches and just carelessly put them on our table. Just rude. Your restaurant needs to let customers order what they like as they are paying the bill and your waitresses need to be more careful how they handle food when giving it to the customers. I will not be visiting this restaurant, it’s just shady.
