Walked in, front counter was unmanned for too long, staff was flirting in the back room, they said "they don't carry cilantro" when they do, gave me the incorrect salsa, chicken and chips was horrendously burned. Writing my review in hopes that they address these issues.

Been a customer here many times but this will be my last time Ordered A Chicken Burrito Chicken Baja Taco and Large Chips and Salsa. Chicken Burrito terrible very Small Chicken old tasting crispy like reheated not worth 11.99. Large Chips were burnt at Over 5.69. Threw away Waste Sorry you lost me as a customer I will still go to your other location. Should of took pictures.

My family and I are sick so we door dashed our dinner. It came completely wrong. The receipt was right. I called and she didn’t understand a thing I was saying so gathered our food and drove there. I said the receipt is right but our food is wrong. I had to explain it 3 times. Then the man who made the food had a smirk on his face the entire time. I didn’t even get an apology. At least apologize since we door dashed for a reason and I had to come to you to get my order made correctly.

Their food is good but they recently reduced their serving sizes, so I will no longer be eating there because there are too many Mexican food options in Modesto to settle for this bait and switch business model.

They left out half the ingredients in my salad last time I was there and this time didn't have any Chile Lime dressing for the Chile Lime salad. The cashier told me I should give her my phone number after ordering my food, and then she rang up my order without asking for my phone number so it didn't count towards my Baja Rewards. She said she couldn't void the transaction and start over.

Totsl fail, no chips, what the heck, mexican restaurant with no chips, unacceptable, the place was dirty too, floorcwas really bad dirtyand broken tiles all over the place. Havnt had the burrito yet so dont know but not holding out to much hopefor it being good, kinda scared actually. The place was just not a good experience. I DO NOT recommend

We should have known when we went into this place at 7 pm and no one was there. Ordered a steak burrito, a bowl and quest with chips. Food comes out but no queso chips. Takes the cashier a good five minutes to realize I am even standing at the register. I ask her for the queso and chips. She laughs and says she forgot and will bring them. While waiting for her to bring the queso and chips i proceed to begin to eat my food. Worst food ever. Worse than Taco Bell. Husband says the same about his steak burrito. He said the meat was very chewy. She finally brings the queso and chips and we are hoping that it is better so we will have something we can actually eat. It wasn’t. Whole meal cost $37 and change and we took 2 bites and it went into the garbage. Save your money and just go to Taco Bell the food there will be way cheaper and better quality (if you can believe that). So very disappointed.

Very disappointed with Baja Fresh recently. They can't seem to get a simple request right. Apparently extra lettuce equals 3 pieces of lettuce. And guacamole is either non existent or all in one end of my impossible burrito.

I haven't eaten here in years, food was great Price was reasonable due to the inflation of everything else so I can't complain about that. The staff were excellent, very polite, very attentive, somebody was always cleaning. If we lived here we'd return to eat here again. Again the guys working here are pretty cool which makes for good atmosphere.
