Star Indian restaurant

I ordered the buttered chicken, vegetable pakora and cilantro bread through DoorDash. The food was really good. I ate so fast I only got a picture of the bread.

The rice was cold and it was heated up halfway it was not fresh and the Nan bread was not fresh either

The food was great but what I love even better was that there was no bad service and the employees treated me well. Overall I had a great time

Absolutely THE BEST Indian food in town. I eat here at least 4 times a week. The chef is so very kind and her food is so incredibly delicious!!

Staff definitely does not wear a mask.Undercooked crunchy chickpeas in at least one dish every time we go.Friends always greeted and served first, no matter how long you've been waiting.

Small place with good food. Not a very good ambiance for a dinner but quick lunches and take out. Very tasty fresh food and baked bread. Courteous service. They also have a sweets stall where you can buy freshly made Indian sweets.

Great service, great combo of flavours and spices. Enjoyed meal very much, will be coming back soon.

I love Indian food and I wanted to try something new, so I went in to Star Indian Restaurant for a late lunch around 2pm today. [Friday Oct 15, 2021] The place is small, clean, and simple. There were about 6 tables, and just a few other people dining in. I was greeted and seated immediately and given a bottle of water while I perused the menu. Because of COVID-19 they're not doing Buffet for lunch. Understandable. So I ordered Chicken Tandoori [3 legs, 3 thighs- BIG pieces!], Goat Biryani, Veggie Pakora, plain Naan, and Chai tea. Su'a`di! Delicious! All for $25.09 [plus tip] with leftovers for 2 more meals. I'm good for the whole weekend. :D Namaste`!

There food is by far my faverite around I travel alot and always get indian food everywhere and there food is amazing

Whoever the female is that works there that takes orders and works the register doesn’t have a clue of what good service is. Very rude the two different times I’ve been there. One time while I was picking up food I seen two different customers walk in waiting to order. They never really got acknowledged and eventually both of them just walked out. This most recent time my wife goes in to pick up food and goes to pay with her card. The lady sees that my wife has some cash and insists she pays with that. My wife states that she doesn’t have enough and the lady replies “I think you do”. My wife proceeds to pay with her card either way and the lady then says smartly “you’re not going to leave a tip?” The nerve. It’s sad because the food is pretty good but don’t expect any type of good service.

Last Saturday I went to this restaurant and ordered 15 veggie samosas and 2 orders of fish pakoras as I was expecting visitors at my place. The lady who was in front was not very polite and she said it will be 30-40 minutes wait. I said ok, so after paying I left and waited in parking lot in my car with a/c on and I have a 6 month baby with me as well.After waiting 40 mins, I went in to check if my order is ready or not, the lady told me another 5 mins. After 8 mins I came my order was ready so I said thank you and picked up my order and left. When I came home I was setting up the snacks for visitors and I counted the samosas and it was 14. So I called them, the same lady answered the phone and I told her that it’s only 14 samosas and I waited there almost 50 minutes for my order. She said we don’t do 15’s and we charged for 14, I said well when I ordered you didn’t tell me about this or else I would have paid for 1 extra. And I didn’t get the receipt for what I’m paying for and how many. The lady said sorry and said come back so she can give me 1 more.. lady I have a baby with me and I don’t live nearby that I just come back and forth.We have bought samosas there previously and it was tasty but this time it was not good and it was spicy.

The food was okay. I had better but not going to complain about it. But what I will complain about is the service, the lady that was serving us was very rude. We came into the restaurant and she asked if we were dining in or not. I said we were dining in and she gave me a look like she didn’t want us there. We picked out a seat but notice how dirty it was, so we decided to change seats. I know she heard me telling my girlfriend “let’s not sit here, it’s not clean” and she gave my girlfriend a dirty look. We asked for some water and she went to the back. Soon as she left another customer shows up and she greets them and handed them a menu and went to the back and got them water! I wanted to ask her about our water but I was too afraid she was gonna spit in it or something worse. She comes back with our water a few moments later, we did not feel welcome there at all. Oh yeah, the other customer were Indians, same as the server, we felt very unwelcome. The water taste gross, it tasted like melted ice water, the ones in my refrigerator. Food was served, but somehow our food came out the same time the other customers were. We wanted to leave at this point but we felt like it’ll be rude if we did. Food wasn’t bad actually, 7/10. But the server made us feel really uncomfortable.

The Pakoras were delicious!! I am still full from them!

I love this place so much! amazing authentic food! butter chicken is my favorite. Serving size is amazing as well! 1 main course could feed about 3 people ❤️

Never had Indian and hands down amazing food. Their butter chicken is amazing really good. The spices are amazing really good in flavor and at a good price. If you want to try indian cuisine you have to try this place very friendly staff. Looks like is going to be my togo place for indian food
