This is a hidden gem in Modesto. They are in the Hospice building and worth finding. Yes, it's the same family that owns Verona's Cucina and Verona 18. I had the flatbed pepperoni pizza, and my daughter had the club sandwich with fries. Sit outside and enjoy the sound of the fountain or inside with a big screen TV showing videos of Verona Italy.
After a medical procedure on my back, my wife and I went to Cafe Verona for lunch. It was after 1pm and there were 4 ladies at a table. This was my wife's first time here and we shared a Club Sandwich with Fries. Yummy, so good, the fries are really good. Thank you to Jaime and Edwarda Alderete for opening this hidden gem.

Had the Blta and it was delicious. Salad was good too. Could only eat 1/2 sandwich. Very filling! I'll be back!
