This is a hidden gem in Modesto. They are in the Hospice building and worth finding. Yes, it's the same family that owns Verona's Cucina and Verona 18. I had the flatbed pepperoni pizza, and my daughter had the club sandwich with fries. Sit outside and enjoy the sound of the fountain or inside with a big screen TV showing videos of Verona Italy.

After a medical procedure on my back, my wife and I went to Cafe Verona for lunch. It was after 1pm...
