Had reservations for last night. Minutes before we arrived, got a confirmation email regarding our reservation. Arrived and they were closed. Wanted to try their molcajete - instead we had the "nocajete". :(

I don't know if these people are trying to be a disco or a restaurant! We made reservations for 2 to have dinner before we went to a show at the Gallo center and couldn't stand being in the restaurant lobby, much less stay for a meal. It was early evening and the windows were all open but the music was LOUD! Ear splitting loud music with a heavy bass pounding away so that you could barely have a conversation. We tried sitting outside but it was just as bad. We left and went next door to an Indian restaurant that was quiet and very good. I'll never even attempt to go back to Maestro's again.

I had tacos and the michelada and they did not disappoint! Everything was so good, they greeted us with chips and water upon sitting down.Our server Lily was very attentive and constantly making sure we were okay wich is a big plus for me because I dislike waving down servers. Deff recommend ! I will be going back to try they're karaoke night !

A group of 4 of us came to have dinner and were VERY disappointed! One of us had the the mojarra and there was no meat on it and very over cooked. My wife had the carnitas taco and the steak sope, nasty! The drinks tasted like they had no alcohol.

They completely ignored me and my boyfriend because we don't drink. They made us wait 30 mins just to pay for our non-alcoholic drinks. They look miserable while working and only help known customers. This place will not last. Food is also mediocre.

I feel Casa Maestro makes and serves the best tasting Mexican food I've experienced. And I've been cooking good Mexican food for 63 yrs. Because of my age, I am happy to find this quaint restaurant that serves delicious food.
