Chefs of New York - Oakdale Road

I called the Oakdale location yesterday because the website said they were closed. She assured me they were open. Today I called at 4 to pick up an order at 5. She said they were permanently closed I would I have to pick up at the downtown location. I said I would pick up then at 4:45. She took my phone number. I arrived at 4:45 my order was not ready there was some whispering going on. Finally she comes back and says we are waiting on the manicotti. Come to find out they wer

Amazing food. I've been twice and had different experiences. The first time they had a waitress for every table. When I went today there were only 2 people working there and it was packed. Overall I would recommend getting food there

I read the reviews and thought I would try out this restaurant. What a mistake. It was just awful. The worst Italian food I've ever had. Just terrible. The sauce on the lasagna was greasy and the pasta sauce was very bland. We ate a little and just threw most of it away. I have a hard time believing that people gave this place good reviews. It was TERRIBLE.

Very classy restaurant, I highly recommend this place!

I've been a regular of this restaurant during COVID lockdown, and they've never disappointed with the quality of food, especially the serving size for the price. But after everything has re-opened, their serving sizes decreased to 1/2 of what they formerly were for take out, and now I feel that I'm being overcharged for my meals. Extremely disappointed in this change, and very hesitant to order takeout, or even return as any type of patron. Based on other recent reviews posted regarding takeout orders, I may not be the only one who's noticed this...

We ordered a calzone, stuffed mushrooms, large Italian salad and garlic fries. The salad was amazing and its definitely a 4 person side salad. The fries are not a delivery food. The stuffed mushrooms, @6ea, has alot of flavor and smelled delicious but also its a good delivery food. The personal vegi Calzone had great ingredients. We paid @$60 for food, deliver and tip. Good "delivery foods" aren't soggy, hold their temperature well and have kept their original flavor

I love this place don’t get me wrong. But lately I haven’t had many good experiences with the food. I’ve ordered to go and pick up orders and today the food was a let down. I was excited and really wanted to be excited for my food when it was time to eat. But the tortellini barely had any sauce at all. The bread was stale. The mozzarella stick appetizers were lack luster, no taste and we’re cold. The pasta frugoli soup was the only good part of the meal. I’m sorry chefs I love your food, maybe today’s dish was one I should have reconsidered.

1st time tring this place. I was recommended to go here from a coworker. This place DID NOT DISSAPPPINT!!!LASAGNA PIZZA IS ?!!!the garlic knots are AMAZING AS WELL!!!!

This restaurant is carefully managed by its owner, Vinnie (for at least 10 years that I know of), who ensures that all menu items are outstanding in taste and quality. The pizzas are exceptionally good! This is a small restaurant that's often very busy with a lively atmosphere and employees who are on the ball and enthusiastic about their work.This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, takeout and parking is never a problem. It's also in a safe environment.

Great service and excellent food. Pesto Pasta is fantastic. Chicken Cacciatore is superb.

Words can't describe. Always good food regardless of what I order. Never disappointed.

We took our group of 11 from Cape Cod, MA to Chefs of New York and besides having a wonderful meal, we made a wonderful new friend, the owner of the restaurant, Vinny! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and our experience there was one of the highlights of our trip to Modesto. Thank you and God bless you, Vinny!

This place has always been good, I haven't been here for 5 years and it's still good. Their food is really fresh and it's worth the wait. The staff is nice and they have a pretty good size menu with a lot of stuff on it. Also you can order wine, its sort of a all in 1 restaurant. I recommend giving this place a try if your looking for something new or just good food
