Modesto’s Hidden Gem! I was looking for a good local spot the location was very different to regular shopping centers. The barista was super nice and helpful in deciding what to order. I went with the Mazapán Frappuccino and it definitely tasted like it! The Nutella concha was delicious too!

Got to try my favorite the jalapeno and cream cheese bolilos. My wife loves the breakfast sandwich. Everything on the menu is great! The whole staff is amazing!

These are very scrumptious conchas they have a very delicate sweet taste to them, whoever made the concha I ate needs a raise and must become a superior concha maker ?

The other day while I was in Modesto, visiting my cousin nearby in the valley I felt hungry and saw this Conchas place on Yelp! Going there I had thought it was going to be a food truck but they do actually have a store front. It is in a little industrial area, just look for their pink sign and store front and your there! Very cute shop with pink walls, they also have some seating as well. I decided to get the Concha Ice Cream Sandwich which was delicious, I got it with their Horchata Ice Cream flavor since I love Horchatas. Would definitely recommend! I also got a mini and regular sized Concha to take home to my family for them to try too! It all came to about $11/12. The girl in the shop was very nice and was able to prepare it quickly! If I'm ever in Modesto or passing through again I'd definitely try it again!

Best conchas I ever had. Gotta get one of those puercitos, though. We went late and there were none left. The coffee was good, and the customer service was even better.

It is a wonderful place for Mexican pastries. Everything is fresh and has wonderful twists on the classics. I have bought and enjoyed the day old special - fill a lunch bag with as many as you can and pay $6 as well as the daily options. The coffee is delicious and so is the ice cream. Great locally owned business!

Great conchas and great service! The conchas and iced coffee were a big hit and end of our party. Everyone was happy to break into them and the coffee was a hit. SO good no one left until late.

Boyfriend and I grabbed a breakfast sandwich, Mexican mocha and pumpkin latte yesterday at their place on bangs. We got there late in the morning and just missed the last maple bacon concha - so close. Great clean place. Food was very tastey and even though it was toasted the concha was still very soft in the center. Will go back earlier next time. (Almost took off one star since they were out of the maple bacons, but that's really my fault, not theirs. Lol.)

The make everything in house ! Even the ice cream and whipped cream! The ice cream was sooo good I highly recommend the horchata flavored anything, the conchas were also so sweet and full of flavor not just a regular pan dulce. The ambiance was a bit awkward but only because the store itself didn't have music playing, the worker said they only have one and it was being used by their food truck. Hopefully they get enough funds to jazz the place up it'll be much more welcoming.

Excellent Customer Service!!

Put a one star because yelp made me. Such bad service here, conchas have no taste and are stale. I wanted to see what the "hype" was but it was gross. If you want something good go support an actual hispanic panadería.

If I could I would give it a 1/2 star. In the last week I've gone to this service restaurant and someone named "Jolene" grabbed me by the neck and told me to leave her restaurant. She claimed to be the restaurant owner after I told her that I wanted to talk to the manager because the place smelled like fish!! The food is obsoloutely horrendous. Nobody should ever get even treated this way. Jolene whoever you are, I'm sorry for asking about why the place smelled like fish, I talked a representative Annie and she also claimed that Jolene was off her physic meds. I sent her the number of a good therapist. Way over prized.I'm sorry Jolene

The review is for the service. We never received the food. I placed an online order for pick up the day before Mother's Day. I was charged for the full amount. My father had just passed away. My mother needed some nice distractions. I'm an out-of-towner, so my sister went to pick up the order. The man working told her no such order existed. I spoke to him on the phone after she was turned away. He was not helpful. He said he would ask the owner to contact me. A week later, I followed up because no one contacted me. This time I spoke to a female employee. She told me that there was no record of an order and that they don't manage the online ordering system (popmenu...but there is no way to contact them and they provide the software not service, like a DoorDash). She asked me to confirm the website I used as being theirs. I told her I could do better and would provide her with the email confirmation with their business name and address. She wasn't impressed. She called the owner, who I could hear in the background, but would not let me speak with her. She said she was just an employee and couldn't handle a refund. The owner is protected like she's Pan Dulce Royalty. Then the woman told me that the order had been ready and never picked up! I again explained (yeah, I'm yelling) that it was never prepared. She said "you weren't there and I wasn't there." Giiiiiiirl, my sister was there and I SPOKE to the bakery that day! She told me I was being disrespectful. Long story short, I am now waiting for an email from the owner. The point is not the sub-$20 loss. It's more about trying to plan something special for someone in need and engaging an establishment that puts itself out there as capable of providing the purchased product. I mean, it's Modesto! It's not like there aren't several good pan dulce places (that are cheaper, no less) to patronize! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE unless you like paying money for nothing.
