The food is great, Don't be put off by the odd location because it's located within a professional complex. Lots of flavor, fresh food, and friendly customer service. I substituted the bread in their turkey and ham sandwich and was not disappointed - it was still delicious. Everything is made fresh to order, even their incredibly yummy cookies. I can't wait to drag my husband to this place, I know he will love it Just Incase anyone is wondering, it's a very minimalistic cafe setting, no ambience. Perfect for a quick dine in situation

The food was amazing. We ordered the steak flatbread with blue cheese, burger and chicken sandwich. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food made to order so takes a bit longer than normal but worth the care they take in preparing your food. The lady who was making our sandwiches was taking such care in putting it together I was impressed.

We were looking for a place to have lunch while on our way to an appointment in Modesto so we went to Crave Cafe. The cafe is very clean and the staff very professional. The menu selection is really nice with a choice of two homemade soups, nice fresh salads and a well thought out selection of sandwiches. The prices are are very fair (maybe too fair) for the quality of food. As a former deli owner, we highly recommend Crave Cafe.

Yooo my nips were hard the whole time. Every bite is so good itll give you chills down your spine. Rare find but I will definately be back to try everything on the menu. PS I got the chicken, mushroom goat cheese with cole slaw. I hate cole slaw but theirs is freaking amazing. I looked forward to every bite.

If you don't like to wait for your food. Don't come here. W ith that said, this was our 2nd time here. Everything is made fresh while you wait. Everything from soups, entrees (go for the potato chips they make them fresh too,) and desert of the day. We had their made to order chocolate chip cookies! When we arrived it was almost closing time we were treated as if that wasnt so. No rushing no acting like we were holding them up. Great customer service! We had the pleasure of meeting the wife of the owner! The food amounts are generous, food was fantastic. I have not tried all they offer, I plan too. But I safely say, I think everything they offer will be top notch. Now to the exterior yes its tucked away in a strip mall. But dont let that bother you. It's safe and quiet business complex single story. We don't live in Modesto, we live in Visalia. Us going so far out of the way shows you how great the Krave Cafe and the ppl who run it! Keep an eye out for us!!!

The crave burger is THE best. I'm scared to try anything else on the menu because I love the burger so much. I order it without the bun because I'm trying to stay away from bread. Don't judge me. Get the bread... it's delicious. Eat the bread! My friends always rave about everything else they get there, so I'll take their word for it. The location is a bit unorthodox but the food is worth the visit. The staff is always so nice to me as well. If you frequent as much as I do, I suggest you get their punch card. Remember: eat the bread.

I've seen complaints about the wait time, but everything is homemade and FRESH! I'll take waiting over commercially pre-cooked foods any day. All the food was amazing! I don't like cream of mushroom soup, but I loved theirs! The sandwiches and fresh made chips were top notch too. The staff is super sweet and the owner/chef goes to every table to see how everyone is doing. It seemed there were a lot of regulars there and he warmly greeted everyone. We plan on going back for sure!!

Good friend and former coworker opened this place quite awhile ago. I am a terrible friend and just finally made it in to check him out. So sorry it took me so long chef! My sandwich is delish (dipper with shaved beef, pepper Jack cheese and jalapeno aioli) and the cream of spinach with chicken and pesto soup is to die for! Off the beaten path but well worth checking out!
