This was such a lovely place. The atmosphere was nice with the low lighting, quiet background music, and beautiful art work around. It fits well for a romantic dinner occasion or upscale dinner with friends. The waitress was very attentive, upbeat, nice, and helpful in choosing food options. We ordered the prime steak mushroom pasta as well as the bolognese pasta. Both were exceptionally good! They allowed me to sample different wines until I liked one which was very considerate. The chef went above and beyond! I loved our experience here, I hope to be back soon!

Perfect first date spot! Great food, great service, quiet enough for conversation and a nice atmosphere.
really nice place
Dewz has been one of me and my wife's favorite restaurant! We travel all over the world and eat at very nice Michelin star restaurants. Dewz definitely matches quality and service and will stand toe to toe with any nice restaurant in California or around the world that claim to be the best. I have never had a bad service or a bad food night. Oh, and their classical playlist to modern music is also a very nice touch! If you complain about the price here, then obviously you don't respect the quality of food and service that they provide. If you ever thought about going, just go! You will not regret it!
I went with my family of four for our anniversary from the beginning the service was awful i paid over 400 dollars since we got the prime Ribeye for our special occasion. But It took almost 3 hrs for our food to come out cold and not once was i offered a refill. This place is so over priced the quality and taste was awful and outdated worst experience ever. Please dont waste your money here.
Fantastic service, food, atmosphere. Great people !
Absolutely love Dewz! They have the best food and drinks in town. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.
Dewz is a great place to have dinner while in Modesto. You would think there were not a lot of great places to dine in such a small town, but there is, and this is one.
We got there a tad early and had no wait at all. The place is very pretty and it is kept in great shape. Even the bathrooms are nice. They have a full bar and a small wine list, which is nice. Make a reservation for weekends.
The service is here is great. You are seated and someone is right with you. They check on you, but you are never rushed, and your food comes as ordered and hot.
We love all their items. I love their simple salad, it is just a great way to start dinner. Their starter calamari is great with spicy marinara aioli lemon wedges. We also love their pork belly with Korean BBQ steamed bun cucumber jalapeno cilantro daikon-carrots, it is just great. I hate having to pay for bread and their bread is $12.00, to thank I say no thank you. Also, baked brie is also great, but very filling. It has strawberry preserve pickled strawberries pistachio walnut thyme blackberry and balsamic toasted focaccia bread--now I have bread.
We love all their steaks, but especially their Prime tomahawk, pan roasted and served with seasonal vegetables, all sauces and your choice of starch. It is huge. The price depends on the size and what the market price is, You will love it. Get it rare.
The prices are up there, but reasonable considering what all you get and the wonderful service.
Have a great time.
