Had a fantastic anniversary dinner last night. We started out with our cocktails made by Jeremiah, absolutely delicious. Heather our wait staff was fantastic and attentive to our needs. Wine and food was marvelous. Calamari was delicious, pasta with steak was great and the New York strip was wonderful. Dessert was very decadent and a special plate with "Happy Anniversary" on it. Fantastic experience and we will definitely be back.

5 star from start to finish and every aspect. Friendly staff. Awesome Bartender Mike, Jay chef came out and talked with us and made a great desert. Drink specials were such a great experience we had to repeat them. I have eaten in many many restaurants all over the states and this is clearly a top favorite for food and experience. Best restaurant of Modesto for sure though would be top in SF, LA or NYC!

WOW! Went here for the first time for my birthday dinner last night. A table of 6. The mixologist at the bar was incredible. Drinks were phenomenal. The service was impeccable. Our waiter answered all questions, he even took the time to show us the different cuts of beef before they were cooked. You have to try the Brie appetizer. Phenomenal. EVERYTHING we ordered was impeccable. The Australian Wagyu was delicious. The chef cooked everything to perfection! I love how they did not rush you and let you take your time! Truly a hidden gem in Modesto!

First we did walk in without a reservation and we got sat down within 5 minutes thankfully! Super nice people, and the ambiance was great! I love how it's not super lit up inside, food was great and the drinks were good! Definitely will be going back again to try something else!

Dewz used to be an upscale restaurant where you could have a great meal. Now, under the new ownership, they have cut corners on the quality of food and have increased prices. It's very sad and disappointing. We used to love going here.

Service is always amazing. I've eaten here a few times and miss the changing risotto, but my husband and I just had our date night here and while most of the food was delicious and the service always supreme, the shrimp in the pasta had gone bad. The dish smelled fishy when it was put in front of me but I use fish sauce in what I cook at home when I make lemongrass dishes so that didn't bother me at first thought. What bothered me was the taste of the shrimp. Seafood shouldn't taste fishy. The sauce was good, house made fettuccine fantastic, but since my husband and I cook food all of the time, what is upsetting is that when you cook shrimp, you know it's bad before cooking because it smells fishy before, during and after you cook it. Seafood shouldn't have a smell to it. I'm a nervous wreck in restaurants, so of course I didn't mention anything when the amazing waitress checked in, but we did leave a note. It was the first time we had left feeling underwhelmed with our food, mostly because when you cook seafood, you know when it's good, when it's ify, and when it's no good. Side note, the name of the loaded fries needs to change because they aren't loaded. Delicious huge chunks of deep fried potatoes with cheese sauce and sprinkle of chives and bacon, but not loaded, but that's just semantics at this point.

Stopped here for drinks and dessert after dinner and enjoyed both! The chocolate cake was too rich for me personally but not terrible overall. Great service and ambiance. I'd love to return to try an actual meal.
The food is amazing, but the service is even more amazing! Always a nice place to go for a special occasion!

Recently dined here after not for many years. Food was good but the prices are ridiculous. I realize everything has inflated as well as food and labor cost but the prices are just a bit much. $58 for a small piece of salmon, a bit of rice and some veggie slaw. The pasta dish prices are excessive as well. I don't mind spending money on food but it still has to feel like there is some value for the money spent.
