Donatello's is a great take on the take and bake pizza genre. I would go as far as to say it's the best take and bake spot in town, if not the best pizza spot in all of Modesto. Brian keeps prices reasonable, 20 bucks for an 16 inch pizza is hard to beat. The ingredients are all fresh, the dough and sauce are made daily, and they really know how to make these pizzas. If you get the craving for pizza, and don't mind waiting 15-18 minutes for it to cook, get it from here.

Just like the scare crow who won the academy award, Bryan is outstanding in his field. The best take and bake pizza i ever had. The ingredients were juicy and flavorful and the crust was just right. The sauce was delicious too.
The memorabilia is tubular and the art work is gnarly.
The other memorable thing about this establishment is Bryan, I had a great time talking to him while I waited for the pizza. You're rad dude and im glad to have met you.
Keep that pizza restocked and you see me again. COWABUNGA!

This is by far the best pizza we have had in a long time. Even though it is take and bake it can compete with the best pizza places 😋 It is definitely worth it!

It was my first time trying this local take-and-bake pizza shop, and everyone there was beyond kind! Even during the busy dinner rush, the owner kept apologizing for the wait and even threw in an extra salad, which was such a thoughtful touch. I’m so glad I finally took a chance on this lovely family-run business it’s the kind of warm, genuine restaurant experience I’ve been missing in Modesto. The food was great, the service was amazing, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again.

The great American Pizza cook off was being held at Sipherd Park and mobile pizza rigs from all over were there for the cook off! Well, my pal Joey Twoshoes had the idea to get a few pizzas from Donatello's Take & Bake, cook them in his little propane stove, and enter them! ...And guess what....Third Place! Donatello's Take & Bake is a 5 star pizza! ☆☆☆☆☆

Step back into a 80s-90s childhood and grab a take and bake from Donatello’s… didn’t expect it to be decked out with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle decor and other blasts from the past (Mr T pities the fool who doesn’t eat Donatello’s) but I probably should have. Anyway, spouse gets home later than any place stays open, so I got a calzone to bake at home for him late at night. 😆

Kid-friendliness: Lots of toys for kids to look at in the waiting area.

Ordered a Popeyes cauliflower crust pizza and was not disappointed. The owner and young gentleman were both so kind, will definitely go back

Pizza was good, but beware they add junk fees to your bill. So, they will charge you more than the stated price.

Just tried for the first time the other day. Very much a New York style pizza in all aspects. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to coming back. 5/5 for me.
