Donatello's is a great take on the take and bake pizza genre. I would go as far as to say it's the best take and bake spot in town, if not the best pizza spot in all of Modesto. Brian keeps prices reasonable, 20 bucks for an 16 inch pizza is hard to beat. The ingredients are all fresh, the dough and sauce are made daily, and they really know how to make these pizzas. Just like the scare crow who won the academy award, Bryan is outstanding in his field. The best take and bake pizza i ever had. The ingredients were juicy and flavorful and the crust was just right. The sauce was delicious too.
The memorabilia is tubular and the art work is gnarly.

It was my first time trying this local take-and-bake pizza shop, and everyone there was beyond kind! Even during the busy dinner rush, the owner kept apologizing for the wait and even threw in an extra salad, which was such a thoughtful touch. I’m so glad I finally took a chance on this lovely family-run business it’s the kind of warm, genuine restaurant experience I’ve been missing in Modesto.
