Husband - I went after work at 5:00 in the morning, and there were already what I would assume are regulars, a group of men "chewing the fat" and waiting for their breakfast.? The lady at the counter was welcoming and playful, very chipper despite it being so early in the morning. She asked "how many dozens" and if they were for my company or her.?One dozen was all I ordered, I wanted to try them out, and man, I was not disappointed. Chocolate, glaze, bear claw, twist, choco-old, c-roll, and apple fritter. All were delicious. ?She also has breakfast croissant sandwiches and coffee. I'll try those next time. Try ? ? of Modesto, and get a taste of royalty.

if i could give 6 stars i would showed up at 5 am and she made us 2 hot fresh ham and cheese croissants that were the best ever. and i spent just under 3 decades in the food biz in some fine dining her skills were up there

There's very much that could be said about this particular donut shop, located off of Crows landing road, but I'm going to say less on this one and enjoy my donuts because it's truly the best I have ever had. Time to go through all of the past recommendations and bragging about what I thought was the top donut shop, because Donut Queen has taken over!
