El Coco Loco Mariscos & Mexican Grill

About dang time that I've been able to find great Mexican seafood in town. This Nayarit style restaurant brings all the flavor. We ordered shrimp tacos and Camarones al Aguachile. They were both very delicious. The batter on used for the shrimp in the taco was really good. I've never had cooked Aguachile, but dang were these good. They weren't that spicy but were full of flavor. We're definitely coming back.

The food was so good and fresh! The place was very clean. I never see at restaurants the servers cleaning the tapatío bottles and here they did! Highly recommend the caldo de Camarón and pescado zarandeado.

The seafood was all fresh and tasted good. We went when there wasn’t many people there so the service was great. The location is a bit weird in the middle of industrial complexes, but at least we didn’t have an issues finding parking.

We visited Yosemite from Napa,Ca. we were told Modesto got some great Mexican food restaurants so on our way back we decided to try this place, food was very tasty and authentic,service very attentive, portions generous and prices reasonable we will go back when in the area.

The service here is excellent. They're attentive, nice and quick! Their Baja fish tacos are the best I've ever had; no weird mushy texture or squirts of water when you bite into it. Extremely crispy batter and fresh crunchy vegetables. The pescado zarandeado is flavorful, tender, and smokey. One of the few places in Northern California that cooks the fish al carbon.

I dream of this fish. Wish it wasn't only available on the weekends because this place gets packed.

The place needs a little more fun.
Needs more staff, service was slow because they were busy, and the Drinks are nice but they need more flare.
The staff was nice just overwhelmed.
Maybe got a try it one more time, they need better tables.
And desserts.

This is my new favorite spot! The food was fantastic! We ordered fajitas, flautas, and bistec ranchera. Everything was cooked to perfection. The flour tortillas were hot off the comal and so soft. The guacamole was perfectly seasoned. The salsa was spicy, just like we like it!

The staff was on point. The ladies were so attentive and ensured we had a great first visit.

We will be back on the weekend to try the Pescado Zarandeado!
