Went there at 4pm after work & was given a paper of coupons & got a meal for 2 & wow that chicken 2 legs & 2 thighs was the greatest ever. Ate it Friday & the rest today. I will be going back again this week. It was fantastic.

I stopped by the El Pollo Loco drive-thru today a little before 4 PM. My visit was super quick—about three minutes. When I pulled up to order, I heard “Go ahead,” but there were other voices in the background, so I wasn’t sure the employee was talking to me. I said, “I didn’t catch that—could you say that again?” hoping for a normal greeting like, “Hi, welcome to El Pollo Loco. What can I get started for you?” Instead, I got, “Go ahead with your order.”
That greeting felt short and unfriendly. A simple, friendly welcome goes a long way, and I didn’t get that here. I decided to leave without ordering. I like El Pollo Loco’s food, but I’ll go to locations that feel more welcoming. If “Go ahead” is the usual greeting, the standards here have really slipped to low levels. Unlikely to patron this El Pollo Loco, customer service at least with this visit left a lot to be desired.

I am very disappointed. I ordered a guacamole burrito guacamole you can read the ingredients on the guacamole burrito. OK it does not come with 90% rice and maybe like four huge avocados At the very Bottom. The bread was ripping and I asked for no pico. Is it that hard to follow instructions? I cannot have pico. It is not this hard to follow some instructions. I will not be coming back here the service and food was not good. How do you mess up an order that bad? I lost my appetite i dont recall ordering a rice burrito.

In my opinion El pollo loco is an underrated chain. The food quality is always top notch and actually can beat out a few of the “authentic “ Mexican restaurants in the area. It was great when they had the self service salsa bar but Covid did away with that. New remodeled always clean with a few tables outside. For an affordable fresh healthier meal El polo loco is a great option

This is the first time I've ever had bad food at this location. My Pollo Bowl had unchopped chicken all connected by cartilage - just gross! And wilted lettuce mixed in with my cilantro. Must be the day off for the regular cook who makes it all so delicious.
