I ordered basically almost a family meal. Tell me why I asked for 5 red sauces and 12 salsas frescas (pico) and the manager on July 14th at 8pm denies me of that. The lady at the register says because her manager says so I can’t have the sauces I use to enjoy my food… for my bowl alone I use about 8-10 picos because I love it. I tell them I don’t want the green salsas don’t waste time Ben giving me that one bc I don’t eat it give me the sauces I actually eat and they say no. I asked for a refund since they wouldn’t let me enjoy my food the way I wanted. How simple is it to just give me the sauces I like when I order one bowl alone they give me 5 picos and 2 red sauces … sooo when I order TWO bowls and a kids meal I get the same amount… that makes no sense. For all this food and only 6 picos yall need to revise your salsa distribution policy because the one on Oakdale didn’t deny me of the salsas I wanted so I could enjoy my food what a joke…

This is one of the worst restaurants. In Modesto CA we have 2 El Pollo Locos and this location is the world's worst place regarding the customer service, cleanliness and hospitality. They only have one kiosk and one open register. The only time workers come to the register is when they see that there's Spanish customers otherwise all the customers have to wait to use the kiosk. My husband, kids and I had to wait for atleast good 8-10 minutes for the kiosk but there were other customers behind us waiting and one of the cashiers started helping and taking orders from the customers behind us. After we finally placed our order my daughter did hers and we all paid separately then afterwards we waited for 20 freaking minutes for our food and our daughter had to wait atleast 30 minutes for her order. The girl that was getting all the orders together was very very rude when we asked about how much longer for our orders she snapped at my daughter and very rudely said' we're still working on it ' and finally our order number was called and my daughter wanted some more of the avocado salsa this rude girl has threw 2 cups of the salsa in the bag and said we can only 2 extra cups for free and my daughter told her that it's fine just tell us how much will it be for 6 extra avocado salsa and to that this girl just ignored us and walked away. We just decided to walk away and will never go to this location again. There's another one about 15-20 minutes for us on Oakdale Rd in Modesto we will definitely be going to this location even if it is farther away from home.

loved the 3 piece dark chicken meal, skin is so crispy and meat is flavorful.

My husband and I stopped by here this morning and ordered avocado double chicken salads paid almost $27 at that. So we get home and just to be disappointed in our order our bowls looked like single chicken salads we had no chips in our bag again and the last few times we have been here we had a problem in our order I understand places get busy but it was barely a hour after opening it wasn’t busy at all then we’re going thru the drive thru to be told to park in the front to wait for our order which came out pretty quick so didn’t understand why we had to drive back around the building so it’s really frustrating cause we love the food and this is the closest one to us we drive 20 min to get here depending on traffic and to only get home and notice our order isn’t right I think we are going to stop eating here
