The best Diablo Chicken I've had yet. Very spicy, but so flavorful. Service was great during a busy holiday lunch hour and the restaurant is very clean with a happy atmosphere. This is my favorite Mexican spot

Our sever wasn’t helpful at all seemed intentional to be honest when people are spending 40+ dollars on two meals you’ll think you can get the basics in service like refills and your check but no wouldn’t come back here if the price was cut in half off principal

Always have a good experience here. I wouldn’t change a thing everything is just right. One of my guilty pleasures is their flour tortilla chips.

Good food and great service
Good place for a quick meal. They’re usually pretty quick, service is good, staff is friendly and tables are clean. Restaurant is a bit outdated for sure and the booths are a little tight, but otherwise we enjoy it. Food is always good and served hot. The chips and salsa are great and they include flour tortilla chips which are delicious. Looove their fajitas. My only complaint would be that take out can be slow and they really need to wash the hand protectors on the fajita platters..

Tropical pork and beef tacos are yummy
This is not real Mexican food. It’s American food with hot sauce.
Ordered the Caldo de Pollo and was the worst I've had!

Tried this place last week as our go-to Mexican restaurant closed in Riverbank. El Rosal thst used to be in Riverbank not only charged more, but we found that the waitresses on Standiford were much more friendly!! 1 small not: the booths are a bit small. We had to switch as my 6 ft+ husband found it confining. Thankfully there were more to choose from. ? gf, celiac friendly, bar, drinks, beer, yummy.
Parking: Street tacos, Chile Colorado was the ? bomb!

Have been coming to El Rosal for a few decades, and we have never disappointed. Great food and service. It was kind of warm in the restaurant this pastime, though.

Always good, basic "Mexican" food. Service is good, with the food on your table within a few minutes.
