Great food, no bread ready but our server did her best to apologize. Cocktails need work just stick with wine or beer. Nice and quiet, busy parking lot. Just a scoop of ice cream for a birthday dessert. Was disappointed. no pizza was available to order. Sounded like they had a large event in the back and I think that was putting the kitchen behind for the restaurant.

Another Wonderful Meal and service was spot on from the moment we arrived . Ashley our server did a fantastic job explaining the specials and I selected the surf and turf. Rib Eye and Shrimp and fresh veggies and creamy potato's We will be back

Very good service by our waitress, Maria and other staff never felt rushed and never felt like we were waiting for something either Because everything went so well, we were her favorite customers of the night

Papapolloni is an absolutely gem of a restaurant in Modesto! Everything from the service to the food to the ambiance is top notch. Generous portions, very friendly and attentive servers, and reasonable prices make this place one of our favorite restaurants to frequent. Highly recommended!

Though it was Mothers Day — the food was good and service exceptional. I think the appetizers were overpriced, but the entrees were priced reasonable.

We love having dinner at Papapolloni! The ambiance is romantic and quiet, perfect for a date night!! The service is exceptional. They pay close attention to all your special requests. The cocktails are definitely on point, and they will tweak them to your liking. The food is also pretty good; I think it's what I would expect for the price point. We've had the salmon, filet, lamb chops, and one special. The fish was a tad on the dry side. The filet was good but they could step up their game for the sides. I'd stick with the menu instead of the specials.

Not the best customer service. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host who sat us at a table. The server was attentive up until the food was placed on the table however , he only checked on us once and that’s when my husband asked for water and the server never came back to our table. He gave all his attention to customers that were already there before us pouring them wine striking up convo and it made my husband and I feel discriminated against. My husband had to flag him down so he could pay for our dinner since he was avoiding our table for some unknown reason. I’m normally huge on tipping but the service did not align with the aesthetics of the restaurant.
