This is so corny but this business is FIRE! We've been here a few times for their dinner for two and honestly for the price you end up with enough food for a dinner that leaves you stuffed with something to take home. We've been known to take two banana puddings to go and I'm pretty sure they're worried about our mental health here because that's A LOT of pudding. Seriously smoky and flavorful BBQ from the chicken to the brisket as well. You can tell there's a lot of care that goes into their food and that includes the sides. Have a date night and Enjoy! We even made a point to visit on our anniversary for a low key celebration!

Fire and Desire BBQ was sooo delicious that when my girlfriend and I wanted more. It is reasonably priced. If you looooove great BBQ and you're in Modesto, you neeed to stop by Fire and Desire BBQ. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Just randomly picked this place off Google and it was awesome. The Phat Mac with brisket was delicious. Over all everything we ordered was so good. Took my 93 year old grandma and she thouht it was good too. Loved the poppers. Yummy we will be back again after her appointments. And the service was excellent! Nice to have a huge smile and happiness after a long day.

I finally was able to eat here, tried twice before, however, they were sold out, since they only make so much each day. First let me say I hate Mac & cheese, however, my Bf got their Mac & Cheese w/ brisket and said just try it... I did and I'm so glad I did, it's mouth watering good. I had to get a second order to take home for dinner.The meat is tender the ribs falls right off the bone, the brisket is moist, juicy and just melts in your mouth.I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food, and great bbq.

This place has the most bomb food ever. It only compares to Texas and that says a lot. Oh and the guys working there are super freaking cool. I highly recommend.

The ribs were ok. The Brisket was delicious. The potato salad ok. The Mac and cheese was nasty. Coleslaw nasty. This place has potential but definitely needs to upgrade there side dishes. I use Yelp often to try new places. My opinion. I was expecting a lot better food with a five star rating.
I was excited to try, however I was disappointed. The sauce reminds of a Mexican salsa which lacks BBQ flavor. The portions are very small. I paid 33.00 for 2 people. This is not a huge portion. We only got 4 small thin pcs of Brisket, small pulled pork and some sausage chopped. The sides were small as well. The potato salad was okay, the Mac and cheese was cheesy like Velvetta style and the beans were semi okay. I've had better. Banana Pudding was good because it was not overly sweet.

The Sausage had a nice snap and a little bite. The chicken was moist and flavorful throughout. The potato salad was simple, and comforting. The Mac and Cheese reminds me of the few privileged times I got to attend a Sunday dinner with a friend's family, it just brought me back to those beautiful lazy Sundays. Do yourself a favor and try it out!
