Extremely disappointed with the changes to the restaurant and menu. We have been coming regularly for several years, the inside of the restaurant now looks tacky and the new menu has removed several of favorite items. What used to be my favorite restaurant for YEARS has extremely disappointed us.
I would like to say that our regular servers and bartenders are always great and attentive.

I had the roast beef and was surprised at how hot it was. I guess this is also because it's America. The dessert tiramisu was also kind of huge. Of course it was delicious.

We arrived at 8:20pm to dine in and the waitress infront came up and rudely said “we are closing early, it was too slow today” I was in shock to hear this. As their business hours say they clearly close at 9pm. In addition, you would think that because “they were slow” you would want to get business and serve clients. Super disappointed! This is a place we would often come to, but I don’t think we will be back.

I went for lunch with my daughter in law this past Thursday. Her pasta was as hard as a rock and didn’t have the bacon in it ( just lost of cubed tomato ) It was supposed to be a pasta carbonara. I ordered a steak sandwich and it was ok. Excellent customer service: they changed her whole order and we weren’t charged for it ( which I didn’t expect ). That is what I call customer service. Thx.

I am not sure what to call this place. It is great, that is for sure, but it sort of looks like a nice diner and sort of like a bar. It has a separate space for large groups and sits right in Downtown. You might think it loud, but it is not. It serves food from everywhere and all of it is good. So, I'll just call it one of the best places in Modesto to eat. We love this place. It is fun and the food is amazing.
There is parking in a lot next door and there are places to walk before or after eating. You can eat inside or out. The deliver, have pick up and take away. The place is very clean and just super fun looking. Again, we love it.
We have been a couple of times now. Try all of their starters--really do that. Their lettuce wraps are never boring, filled with firecracker marinated chicken, portobello mushrooms, water chestnuts, carrot-ginger salad, sweet chili sauce and spicy hoisin sauce--oh ya. The baked brie dip is so tasty, but heavy so be careful, with sautéed garlic, onion and fresh thyme baked and served with crisp crostinis. Share this one. Their shoe string potatoes with thyme and roasted garlic aioli are worst tossing the diet. They are crispy and I love the garlic. Now, the pan seared brussels sprouts I can and will live without. I don't like them, but my husband thinks they are great. Personally, I save their bacon wrapped dates for desert. They are perfect after dinner.
The grilled ribeye is our favorite steak there, it has 14oz certified angus beef seasoned with garlic, and ancho chili, and russet mashed. Get that rare. It is the best. The King salmon and the tri tip are also on our top list for great.
The service is ever so nice here and you will have a great time. Have fun.

We stopped by for lunch. The waitress was super attentive and very friendly. The food was amazing, I had the prawn pomodoro and my friend had the Caesar salad with chicken.
Parking: We found parking close by on the street. We had a late lunch, so maybe that’s why there was plenty of parking. But the food and service were worth it!
