My second time. My first was not too bad, that's why I went back. The first time the worst was the Tiramisu, it was drowning in cream. The appetizer was not as good, the Caesar Salad too much dressing , and the Fillet was not a fillet. It was wide and thin as if it was cut from a ribeye, had small tendons in it. I looked it up on the internet to see if it was struggling financially. Can't be once I saw who owned it. Such a beautiful place to have such bad food.
We were very impressed. Have been to many, many great restaurants and this one ranked at one of our favorites. And who knew - it is in Modesto. It is a must go to.
Great food and atmosphere.

Service was good but my pizza was overcooked, They seated us way too close to the table next to us. It was hard not to hear their personal conversation.
Made the reservation from out of state two weeks in advance and asked for their booth. Made the reservation on time at 6pm and was taken to the worst table in the restaurant. I balked at that. Not cool. We were a party of 4 and they were seating us at a table for 8. Eventually, we did get a slightly more intimate table. The food was mediocre and took an hour to be served. Will not dine here again.
Amazing food, service and ambience. 5 Stars all the way!

We live in Lodi and whenever we visit the Gallo theatre we must eat at Galleto. Superior in every way. In Lodi we have Pietro's and I rank these two the same - outstanding.
First experience here and last. My husband and I chose to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. My shrimp scampi was gummy and the shrimp were not deveined. They took my plate to remake, however my husband waited with his plate in front to him. The server eventually offered to take it back to "keep it warm". 20 minutes later they brought me a new plate, and brought his half eaten plate back. We really thought they would've at least brought him a new meal too. Manager didn't offer anything to make it right. We don't plan to go back. I'll certainly tell others about our experience. By the way, portions are small, food is overpriced, and flavor is nothing special. Save your money and go to L'gusto Cucina in Riverbank for a better experience.
It was our first time there. We will defiantly be returning. The restaurant is very nice inside. The décor is perfect. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. It was our anniversary and they have special menus for different occasions, very nice touch. I highly recommend this spot and we will be returning again with friends soon.
We had a small birthday celebration for my husband. Service was fantastic. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was amazing, comfortable, and very friendly. I would definitely come back for the pizza.

Felt ignored. Didn't ask if we wanted something to drink for 25 minutes. Never got asked if we would like another drink when we were empty. Finally we were given the wrong dessert!
Our experience was great as always! This is why we keep coming back! They also put Happy Anniversary on our Menu and My Wife's desert! What a nice touch!
One of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen. Live ivy hangs over the outdoor. Service was phenomenal. I had my baby who was tired and they were so gracious. Could not recommend more.
An excellent meal and attentive professional service. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.
