The cooking is above all other persian restaurants around. I tried all from sacramento to san francisco to modesto. Betty is the only who serves cooked yogurt (yummm), uses actual saffron (you can taste it unlike all others substituting turmeric!!) Rolled cabbage is super. Portions are hunky. Price is lowest. They dont come like this anymore, unfortunately :(
I had a really good experience at this restaurant. The kebab was made with beef, but honestly, it was super tasty and I really enjoyed it. I also liked that they served it with fresh herbs on the side – it made the whole meal even better.
The highlight for me was definitely the baklava. It was walnut-filled, really fresh, and delicious. The portion was generous too, and having it with tea was just perfect.
The place itself was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

We ordered 3 meals yesterday, the rice isn’t well cooked, it’s crunchy, and there was no sauce whatsoever with the dry rice to swallow, the falafel were burnt and the meat, omg, you need tools to cut it, it’s dry and you can chew it for hours. Our order was done in 25 minutes, I think they just wrapped something from the leftover. And it's expensive. Bad experience.

This place is the preferred spot for Mediterranean food. Very family friendly and polite customer service. The food is amazing and tastes very authentic. I would recommend the humus with olives to start out.
Great Service! I called to order a feast for Mother's Day. The staff who picked up (I think he might have been the owner?) Was so helpful and kind. Since I was ordering a couple of combo dishes and extra protein sides, he offered to put the rice and he protein in separate containers. It's a very simple thing to do, but it was a plus since he offered it. Its the little things that add up to great service:)
Food: I ordered Chicken & Koobideh plate, Beef Barg plate, and 3 extra Koobideh. They were delicious with the Fatoush salad and cucumber yoghurt. It was a good amount of food for 5 adults, with some leftovers afterwards. I would order these again! 🤌

Drove into Modesto from Monterey, California to go to a Concert where Fernando Ortega would be singing. Meet friends in Modesto and Bruce said he found a Mediterranean place to eat at! We walked in and they were friendly and family owned. Andrew was most helpful in sharing with us about the preparation of the food and the recipes being in his family and passed down to his Mother, who loves to cook and share their traditional Mediterranean dishes which he had enjoyed eating since he was a young boy. He spoke of how he totally appreciated the love and care that goes into every dish. We picked the stuffed grape leaves and stuffed cabbage with TzatziIke and Hummus with garlic, with sliced pita, deliciously good! Both our husbands had the lamb Kabob with roasted Tomatoes and large Greek salad. Beautiful presentation and most importantly the food was fresh, the vegetables had great favor the meat was medium raw and spices were flavorful and we four had a great time talking and laughing with our friends. Awesome! Thank you for your gracious hospitality! Great find!
