I will preface by saying I love the food at Harvest Moon. Today I went an hour prior to closing (3pm Sunday) and was seated right away. Hostess was super nice, as always. I sat near the bar (probably my mistake) but one of their off work employees was in the bar and she was terrible. She was yelling about selling marijuana, every other word out her mouth was F$&@ or similar. She was yelling about her dog defecating in her home etc etc and how hot some "non binary" person is...The bar tender was our server and was too busy talking to the drunk employee, or ex-employee (whatever she was) and I waited for the check so long it was past closing time. I got up and paid my own tab at the front and got my own boxes. Terrible experience. If I had my young children I would have left after a few minutes... Update. I'm now getting threatening messages from the woman I was speaking about due to my review. I don't believe she's an employee. And thank you for looking into the issue Jessie :) I will always be a fan of your establishment.

Love the food here and be careful if you order the moon juice its delicious but just one drink made me super tipsy! Highly recommend trying the peanut butter Thai chicken skewers or the avacado tacos for an appetizer to share.

My daughter and I had a really good early dinner here at Harvest Moon. The portions are big and their staff is friendly. It's a small space inside, but it has a home feel to it, maybe because it once could have been or because it has a very welcoming vibe. The music they were playing was great from Aretha Franklin to Whitney Houston and others, not at all loud, but pleasantly heard. We forgot our left overs and the waitress who took our order ran out and gave us our left over container. She didn't have to do that as most restaurants do not, but she did and that was really nice of her to do. I will definitely be back I loved our food and everything about this restaurant!

Best appetizer menu anywhere! The BEST garlic fries this side of Gilroy ! Huge salads with very good dressings . Full bar and great selection of beers . Whenever you pass through modesto this is the place to go.
