I went here with my bf for the 1st time a few months back. We kept seeing it on Instagram and we decided to give it a try. The food was okay just a little bland. I was mostly disappointed about the sando, i thought it came with white bread but it was a hamburger bun. That was the most disappointing. Lastly not sure if the waitress is still there… but she was kinda just rude. Not like rude rude but she just looked like she was over it didn’t want to be there… we were the only customers there too! She was not attentive to us and was on her phone majority of the time. Would I come back?? Eh if it’s the only place open at that time yea sure!! Is it worth it?? Another eh… I’ve gone to soo many ramen places and I still feel like the others are a little better.

I have been visiting this amazing establishment numerous times here the past couple years and thats because their food and atmosphere are just fantastic! I have tried numerous dishes throughout the time frequenting Konfucious Eats, and i have never once been disappointed by the foods taste and portion size! The price runs average nowadays for some quality food such as theirs. Service is always great and hospitality is on point! The atmosphere is always so welcoming and the interior decor is one of my favorite parts making this small business such a stand out spot! A benefit that comes when eating here is also supporting a local small business who relies heavily on customer support, so I love keeping that in mind when visiting and i encourage everyone who can to tip generously to keep an amazing restaurant open!

Looked like great place to grab some ramen broth was great I didn’t pick the one saying garlic cause I didn’t want anything to garlic and this one happened have a whole floor of garlic therefore a lot of garlic over power that tender noodles and nice broth sad to say started bad cause the lady or guy giving my food asked for name and I told them twice and then made me bring my phone in which my son was using cause I was just gonna grab my pick up order as you plan on being quick just so much extra when I went in there with the phone I already paid and everything only bag there 1+1=2 definitely Tokyo shoyu is what I got

Worst service we have ever experienced. The moment we walked into Konfucios Ramen in Modesto, we immediately felt uncomfortable. The place gave off a weird and creepy vibe. Not welcoming at all.

But what truly ruined our night was the lady server. She was incredibly rude from the moment we arrived. No greeting, no smile, just an annoyed expression like we were bothering her. When we asked simple questions about the menu, she responded with attitude, rolled her eyes, and made us feel like we were not even welcome. Her tone and body language were offensive and honestly gave off a racist attitude.

We ended up walking out before even ordering. We refused to support a business that treats customers — especially families — with such disrespect. We have eaten in many places, and this one is by far the worst.

We will never come back and do not recommend this place to anyone who values basic respect and customer service.

I used to be a loyal Konfucious customer, loved coming at least once a month to support the business and enjoy good food. This has changed drastically over the last few months. The service is downright awful, being vaguely gestured to a table, being rushed to order, wouldn’t be checked up on or would stop at our table, leaving us to stick with a single napkin a person. At some point I assumed we couldn’t even get straws because I was never given a second to ask for them. Food here is great, but at most I would order food to go, being spoken down to when you’re trying to enjoy a good meal and constantly having our conversation interrupted because they recognize who you’re eating with is also very annoying. I’m embarrassed bringing anyone new here and introducing them to Konfucious from the awful service I’ve received back to back, and it simply isn’t worth it. Being neglected your entire meal but being rushed to pay and rushed to leave will be a common occurrence if you dine here. If you want a nice dining experience, I wouldn’t recommend this location. While the food may good, the staff’s awful attitude and treatment WILL spoil your meal.

I've yet to have anything here that wasn't absolutely delicious. Can't recommend it enough! Don't forget to buy a tub of kimchi for home!

this is probably my third time here the food was always delicious in my opinion. my only complaint is that my ramen wasnt that hot it was warm and that you have to pay $2 for water. a little crazy considering water is free literally anywhere else. their menu isnt updated aswell
