Kusina Reviews
Ordered relyenong talong and it's the worst relyenong I had . It was burnt and cooked with an old mantika. It was so disappointing. My bill is $16 and it's not worth it.
I promise my self not to comeback and won't recommend the place . The cashier is nice though. But the food is horrible.
Went there for the first time last week. Upside, at last there's a Filipino food place in modesto and staff is friendly, attentive. Food is ok but can do better. Kusina offers a variety of Filipino dishes, including Tortang talong and palabok noodles. Customers enjoy the flavors and textures of the food, with some finding the portions a bit small. A popular choice is the combo meal with pancit bihon noodles and a veggie lumpia option. The kare-kare is noted for its creamy peanut sauce, and the seafood dishes are praised for being incredibly fresh. Some feel that the halo halo dessert could use more toppings, but others love the ube and mango ice cream. The restaurant also features unique daily dishes and Filipino food products, including snacks and pantry items that remind customers of home. While the prices are a bit high, the friendly and attentive staff, along with the delightful ambiance filled with tasteful decorations and soft music, make Kusina a worthwhile dining experience. Many customers express that it's a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of the Philippines.
