La Morenita always delivers in delicious food and wonderful service. My family recently held a luncheon after a funeral service for over 40 guests. Javier and his staff accommodated us in their banquet room and provided such excellent service. The buffet was perfectly curated and set up, and chips and salsa were set on the table ready for guests to munch on. I couldn't have asked for a better restaurant to host our event. Not to mention, Javier made the whole planning process...
Best service i have had in a long time, ANYWHERE! Waitress came through frequently enough to ensure we were never without anything we desired, she was extremely friendly and prompt with any requests. It had been a couple of years since we had enjoyed a meal here and we will definitely be returning soon.
The food here is wonderful! My favorites: Garlic shrimp and flour tortilla chips. I used to live in Turlock and this was a favorite restaurant. The food hasn't changed one bit. The service, however, was pretty crappy. I was there alone and had a waitress promptly. Ordered a beverage right away and that was brought fairly quickly. I ordered my little meal and that was also brought fairly quickly. After that, pretty much crickets. I waited at least another half hour before...
