I had the menudo there yesterday and I don’t want to sound like I’m over exaggerating but it literally tasted like water. It had no salt, no taste at all. I took maybe two bites and threw it away. Other than that, the food is usually very good. Just don’t get the menudo there!!

My husband & I are from Livingston & came to Modesto for the day & was looking for a good spot to eat & we stopped in here & their food was so good. They didn’t have a pollo ranchero but they had a camarones rancheros & made it for me with chicken & it was bomb! Very nice & attentive! In my photo I posted I had already dug into my food lol but wanted it be sure to leave an excellent review!

The food was awesome we had a good time we actually sat around and talked a lot and no one bothered us they actually would continually come by to make sure that we were okay and if we needed anything All the people that work there are very very nice very very respectable. We had a really nice time I'm extra surprised that it was not as filled as I thought it would be especially with the food being as good as it was It's in a nice busy area and maybe it just wasn't their time of day where they get busy but I'm surprised it wasn't way busier than it than it was anyway yes I'll go back I'd love to go back anytime and try some more of their food the rice was the only thing that just wasn't quite up to what I like but no one can make it like Mama anyway if you're looking for good Mexican food this is the place to go

Went here for the first time today and will absolutely be back! Had delicious flautas!! Loved the chips, beans & salsa that were brought to the table premeal. The place was clean & festively decorated for Valentine’s Day. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked for recommendations. This is my new favorite place in Modesto!!

My wife wanted to go eat at the Reyna restaurant on a weekday about 7:15 pm we entered the restaurant the boy waiter told us they were close the sign said 8:00pm okay we went across the street to la Huerta Vieja had dinner the bill was about $50 plus they lost 2 costumers please say something to this young waiter I think he is the son of the Lady ower!

Stopped here on my way to Yosemite. I had the quesabirria combo and it was great. I took the leftovers with me and got a dinner out of it. The service was also great.

Their shrimp plates are delicious! They offer hand made tortillas along with their dishes. The complimentary chips and salsa comes with beans for dipping. Their micheladas are top tier. Their service is excellent. I stop here regularly when I come in from out of town.

I paid $14 for an asada torta expecting it to be good. It’s a joke. Not worth coming back to.
