We had a mocajete de carnes had chicken steak and chorizo and a bistec ranchero plate. Chips were fresh and so was the salsa. My only thing was that the Mocajete it was not cheesy or sizzling I know that is a poor excuse but that was kind of a sad thing when I received my food. A little on the Pricy side but worth it. I still gave them a 5 star for the restaurant being clean, food was good, and service was amazing. Muchas Gracias

First time here and it was such a treat! The food was A-1, so much flavor, and nice presentation. The waitress was quick, friendly and attentive. The place has been here for decades but is under new ownership and recently remodeled. It's clean and inviting. I'll bring my family to eat here again and again.
Overall, the food met all my basic expectations of a solid Mexican restaurant. In my opinion, the food was a bit pricey.Reason for Service Rating: There was only one server for multiple tables of 5 or more ppl. It was a challenge to get food out and handle it all.I'll do a more thorough rating next visit.

Service was great. Food was great. I ordered the chile verde dish and it comes with rice and beans. I was a bit surprised to see it was white rice but it was delicious. The serving was enough for two, but I like challenges. The restaurant was quiet and they had on the NFL preseason game. The only reason they got four stars is because I ordered corn tortillas. I don't like them soggy but I have yet to find a restaurant that heats up tortillas correctly. Go check them out.

My husband food was good. He said the steak and tortillas were delicious. The little shrimp in my tacos only had some cleaned. I didn't realize till the last taco that most of the shrimp wasn't deveined. Gross. The cops and salsa was good and the service was fast, but I recommend coming prepared to devein yourself or only order if you don't care if it's deveined or not. The shrimp and cheese empanada didn't really have flavor.

Worst experience ever I have been to Las Islitas in Lodi and confused it with being the same restaurant the people there were so busy about entertaining one table they gave them our food. We sat there for over an hour with no food we had placed our order and I watched it get delivered to the table right across from us, I called the waiter over and they said it will be another 40 minute wait we left worst service worst place ever I would never go back
