I’m not from the area at all. Was just working here for the day when I drove past and this place caught my eye. Modesto truly has a diamond in the rough here because this was their #1 special was the first authentic banh mi I’ve had since I was a kid. The Vietnamese coffee was made true to form as well. The price is extremely fair and the guy working the counter has a very positive vibe.They have other variations of the banh mi on their menus to cater to a broader palate...
Live in Riverbank still drive across town for their mini ( Eggrolls Baby egg rolls ) for four dollar kids love them perfect dish to take to a family function or a party. Guarantee there will be none left. Your eggroll sauce is delicious, sweet and the perfect Heat 👍🏼
I love this place, I've been coming since I was in highschool and even when I moved out of town I would make it a point to stop in. The owner is the sweetest. It's just a small little shop with a simple menu and lots of snacks but that's exactly why I love it.
