Hospitality abounds! This local family-owned restaurant has great shredded beef tacos, and burritos, and tamales. Large portions will encourage you to return. They also have a full bar and a banquet area.
My wife and I drove from Lodi to Marcella's last night in search of the "Carmen's Tapatia" we enjoyed so much back in the 1970-s when we were dating. I ordered the shredded beef tapatia, and she had the grilled chicken tapatia, and both were fantastic! Our server, (Natalia?) was also 1st rate. It was like time travel. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Our server was very friendly and attentive to all of our requests making sure the drinks and chips and salsa were replenished without us having to ask. The food was exceptional along with the service. Highly recommended,and will definitely return in the future!
