I go to Modesto's Farmers market on Saturday's just for Matkat Sourdough! I love the huge selection of sourd[ugh bread, my favorite is the Jalapeno-cheddar loaf! it's amazing! If you love sourdough you have to try Matkat Sourdough!

Best sourdough baker outside San Francisco; she’s actually would do great in the city. Top quality breads (olive rosemary, basic rustic, baguettes). Try the pizza dough and the cookies; simply mouth watering. Love this place; A+++

This is the best sourdough I've ever had. The flavors are off the hook! It doesn't matter if you're having it plain, as toast, grilled cheese, with soup-you can't go wrong with any favor. Even the cookies are amazing!
