Called in an order and received the wrong food. Not even close to what I ordered and then when I went back to get a refund, they took their time to help me. They were eating food and had no urgency to help. When they looked over the receipt they said we just closed so we can't help you.Great service, I was actually looking forward to trying this place but now I understand why it is always empty inside. Terrible service.

Asked for a deep fried roll and say at my table for 35 minutes and when i asked for it they replied which one as in he never put in my order. Asked for 2 fries only got one. Ordered another sushi roll & asked for it to be deep fried & it was not. Asked for 2 alcoholic mixed drinks & took over 20 minutes just for the server to ask sorry do you still want those? No thank you. This was the worst service ever that i have received. My sister had to go home & eat raisin bran.!

Ordered food over the phone, arrived when I was told. Only after I arrived did they begin to prepare the food. No one else was at the restaurant. The chef and girl who asked if I was picking up were talking and only acknowledged me after 5 minutes of being there.

I ordered takeout, and 20 minutes later, I entered the restaurant to pick up my food. The restaurant was literally empty, so I assumed that it was already ready. However, the workers and chef were just talking to each other the whole time I was there. I waited inside the restaurant for another 30 minutes, and the food was still not ready. It's literally mostly raw food. How the hell does it take the "chef" over 50 minutes to prepare 2 rolls of sushi when there are literally no customers in the restaurant?? I can see now why there were no customers inside this restaurant. The service is abysmal and slow.

First time here and I was very impressive. One of the only few sushi spots in Modesto open past 9 pm. The service was very phenomenal. The staff kept checking up on us and made great suggestions. I would definitely recommend the bento dinner box with the honey sesame chicken and the spicy dragon roll.Parking: Parking is huge. Lots of parking up front.

My husband and I went there for my birthday dinner and had the best experience! Our server was awesome! She definitely made me feel special on my birthday! Our sushi and potstickers were delicious! I tried the cold sake and it was really tasty! They brought me out a piece of deep fried cheesecake and it was AMAZING! For everything we ordered, we were very pleased! I highly recommend! If you haven't been here, you're missing out!

Sushi was terrific. Best sushi in the area at a good price. Love their Stacker roll and the Crunch Crunch roll on their happy hour menu is delicious. Service was great, our sever was super helpful and knowledgeable about the food and helped with any questions we had. The restaurant vibe is super nice too. Love the samurai suit of armor they have on display

This place used to be great. Its filthy, tables tilted and loose. Waitress cant wait to tell you they are closing so you better be quick....Overpriced, not nice.

I haven't been to Miki in a lot of years , so I don't. know if there has been a change of ownership but .....The food quality has taken a nose dive . There is so much rice I can barely taste the seafood or anything else .The menu on Miki Sushi website has a much lower price than was charged at the register for take out . The menu price was $66 but on pick up they presented a tag for closer to $100 .

Called an order in, and they stated it would be 20 minutes. I arrived and waited to be helped. no one even acknowledged I was there. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the girl that took my order finally saw me and repeated my order and then left. That's the lst conversation with her. After about another 15 to 20 minutes of waiting ( the waitress was staying in the back room), I went up to the person preparing the food and asked how much longer. He was kind and told me 2 minutes. Again, the waitress was hanging out in the back room. The person preparing the food then went and said something to her, but she didn't come help me, instead, he came out and charged me and provided me the order. He apologized for the wait and said she forgot to put the order in! At this point, it had been almost an hour as opposed to the 20 minutes i was told.Instead of hiding and avoiding me, she should have told me what happened. I had 1 interaction with her, and that was it. Very poor service will not be going back. Please teach your waitress some people skills. The other that I seed simply said that's not her area, but she didn't go grab the person who's area it was.
