Went here for my brother's 68th birthday celebration. The staff was great and very accommodating for our large party of about 20 people. Themselves got in the spirit of celebration along with us and his church family. A good time was had by all, even the waitstaff.

I don’t normally write reviews but I came in the other night with my daughters and we had such a great experience! I can’t remember our servers name she was a young girl but she was very personable to myself and my children and was very warm every time she checked in on us. I got the chicken Caesar melt and it came out quick and was also so delicious my children kept taking bites of it LOL. All around a very enjoyable experience with the staff and the food itself, we are new to the area and I can see myself coming back based on this experience alone. It’s so hard to find chain restaurants that capture that small town friendly atmosphere but this Black Bear location hits the mark!

I had a taco salad that was big enough for 3 meals and I eat pretty good. Should have taken a picture. It was ridiculously huge. Good value at the Bear 🐻 pretty consistently good there 👍

The waffle has the same texture and flavor as a pancake. Other than that everything was excellent. The hash browns are to die for !!

When my family visits from out of town I always bring them here. Food is amazing always, fresh and delicious. Portions are worth the price and you leave sometimes with more food for later. Kids menu and price is great, mi 4year old loves it. Great family friendly experience.

My server was Daisy and she did a great job. I have 3 boys and 1of my boys commented that she was cool. He mentioned that within the first 20 minutes of being there. My youngest was having a birthday and she took care of everything and didn’t need to be reminded. She came around enough to take care of our needs but not to much to bug us. Bottom line Daisy was Awesome. She was fun and attentive. I wish more servers would have this level of customer service. We will be back because of her. Thank you very much.

Went to Black Bear@ Plaza Parway for some Grits. #watery/lumpy Q:How do you make smooth creamy Grits? A: You stir & stir & stir. When you get tired, you stir some more!!!

The fish and chips were really oily and not good quality, obviously from frozen. The coleslaw had little sauce. Fries/chips were fine. Don't think I'll be back.
