The waitress seemed to preoccupied and very abrupt. When I asked her for change , she said she didn't have any and I said it's for the tip and she's like, that's ok, you don't have to tip! So she thought i wasn't gonna tip??? Guess what? I wasn't gonna give one anyways she never came back to the table!

We love the food here. The Jerusalem Chicken is awesome. Also another dish I can't recall the name, but it's pasta in a delicious creamy white sauce that is rich and deeply flavored. So yum. It's the best hole in the wall. The servers are so nice and we have a great experience whenever we go, except once when they air on so cold they froze us out of there. Other than that one time, we have always had great food , in a cozy setting, with excellent service.

FANTASTIC FOOD!!! I’ve dined at Palermo 4 or 5 times and each time my food was delicious. The restaurant is small, so be prepared to wait or make reservations. My last visit was on a Sunday evening. We were the 1st two in the door and by the time our appetizer arrived, the restaurant was entirely full. It’s a great place to eat and a lot of people know it!
I liked that they had oldies playing softly. Made for a nice atmosphere. Waitress was friendly, answered all our questions and made some great suggestions. They serve warm slightly crunchy great tasting bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I enjoyed every dish that was ordered. I’ll definitely be back if only for the warm bread.

I tried the Penne Siracusa, and it was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the marinara sauce was rich and flavorful, with fresh spinach and mushrooms adding depth to every bite. Everything was cooked to perfection, showcasing the care and quality that go into their dishes.
Whether you’re heading to or from Sacramento or San Francisco, make a stop at Palermo. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home while serving up some of the best Italian food in the area. Highly recommended!

We came here on valentines day. I chose this spot specifically for their eggplant parm so I was extremely disappointed when they said they ran out. But I ordered a custom creamt pesto veggie pasta that I created & they made it & it was very tasty. Im very picky as I make some of the best itallian food so im very judgy with itallian restaurants & they passed my test. I didn’t need to add salt ir pepper which is always a plus. My husband enjoyed his seafood pasta as well. I need to go back to try their eggplant parm & hopefully they will have it

You will not find better Italian food, more authentic large portions or better service than at this restaurant. It’s small— It’s older, but it’s classic!!!! Classic true Italian! And Chandre and Alondra Are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and the most attentive servers. When you come here, you feel like family! Trust me— gallettos Might have fancy steaks and overpriced pasta but if you really want Italian, it’s all about Palmero! And their tiramisu is really good… I prefer it without the caramel and chocolate sauce, though. 🤌🏼🤌🏼😋
