Delicious chicken salad sandwich! And the brownie is to die for! Bryan (owner and chef) is a super nice guy and The Stop Cafe is set back from the road by the car dealership which allows for plenty of parking.

Stopped by with a coworker for a quick lunch. The trip tip sandwich was great! My buddy had the pig sandwich, it smelled great. For dessert they have fresh pastries, cookies and brownies. I had to try a chocolate chip cookie, lemon cookie, and tangerine cookie. Was going to save them for later but they smelled so good I couldnt wait. They tasted great. I'll be back!

Very cute little cafe, clean and comfortable. Great sandwiches and iced tea. The lemon scones are delicious! I want to try a homemade soup next time. The owner and chef Bryan is so friendly. I watched him walk around to each table and greet his customers. Great oldies music playing. I'll definitely be back again. :0)

Nestled amount the Chevy car lot it would be easy to drive right past. The restruant shares space with the commercial office of the dealership. It is very clean inside, including the restrooms. The decor is fifty's with bright red seats and crime. Betty Boop greats you with a tray of menus. There are 9 tables inside and 3 outside. I had a soup and salad and Aj had a bowl of soup. All were packages to go. The soup today was beef stroganoff. It was very tasty, just like grandma's and was accompanied by a bag of oyster crackers. The salad was mixed greens with 1/2 a hard boiled egg. With one soda our total was $15.64. Perfect for a light lunch.

Excellent food! But how do you rate a neat place like this? I think for lunch may be fine however breakfast burrito was excellent like I said but a tiny one plus breakfast eaten in I want a coffee mug & silverware not plastic

Found this place by looking on yelp. Was kind of confused because it's in the car dealership lot. Decided to try it anyways. It's delicious!! The owner is super nice too. We will definitely be back.

This place is awesome. Best chicken sandwich I've had in Modesto. Only thing better then the sandwich is the cookies. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Stop Cafe, you won't regret it.
Very old-fashioned, regal diner. They have staff who care about you and are very friendly. Their food is delicious and they get their food locally.
