I used to love it here but lately or maybe depending on the time the fish will be slimy, flies landing on it too… I would love it again if it were cleaner and the fish wasn’t slimy and flies were exterminated. This location is worse than the riverbank one. I’ll will now be going to pokemoto, it was much much cleaner.

Save your money and go somewhere else!! I’ve always loved this poke spot, but I don’t know what has changed lately. The quality of the fish is really low and taste slimy also the portion has shrunk about half. I use to always see the same manager for years, but he hasn’t been there the last couple times I’ve went in so I dont know if it’s a new owner or if a new person is running the shop. I won’t be returning.

I had gone to get 2 spam musubi and there was about 1 1/2 inch of rice and a thin piece of spam the rice also tasted pretty old and I had also bought a canned drink that was expired

Oh my goodness. This is one of the best places in town. I love their variety of things to place within the bowl. Decent price. Very delicious 😋

Spicy tuna was interesting. It was like grounded tuna instead of chunks. The creamy shrimp was delicious. Portions were good.

The employee was nice but when we asked what vegetables/toppings she
would recommend she said she doesn't like vegetables.

The atmosphere was quiet. There is no music that I can remember.

If I go there again, I wouldn't get the spicy tuna.

I went here a week ago. Worker was rude and didn’t listen to my order and ignored half of my order and rushed me although there was not any people that were in line behind us.

The fish was not as fresh as it should be!!

I went here just a few weeks ago.

Only people who don't know what real poke tastes like will enjoy eating here. The fish looks, smells, and tastes gross. I think they have it sitting out at room temperature the entire day.

I took one bite, then sadly threw the whole 20 dollars of food away.
Please trust me when I say don't eat here. It is not worth the risk getting food poisoning from fish not properly stored/kept.

The place is stingy with sauces, dimly lit, not very clean and the service sucks. On top of it all, the owner is a real unkind person.

Don't eat here! The fish is old. My roommate and I both got food poisoning from their octopus or maybe their fish! The owner is rude too!

The service and the spot is top notch. But the food used to be way better. This time, the seafood didn't seem as fresh, but it was still passable for poke in modesto. I still recommend this one over the other poke bowl on Pelandale by the costco. I just wish the quality would go back to how it used to be

Whenever we are in Modesto, this is our favorite Poke Bowl place. The employees are always quiet but pleasant. The food is terrific; we wish they gave the option to hand mix it. We often struggle to combine the bowls because of the amount of food in them. The fountain drinks seem to always be on the flatter side. There are about three groups of 4-person tables and one two-person table near the window. It's a simple, self-serve dining experience.

Wow. Absolutely wonderful food and service. This was better than almost all of the poke I’ve had in the Bay Area.
