Shoutout to Kiana for the best service tonight and helping us out. Her personality should be awarded for how well she is with guests. She had multiple orders and got everything done so fast. Our favorite shaved ice in the Central Valley and even better when the service matches. 10/10 service and 10/10 flavor

Pura Vida is a gem! The staff is wonderful, the owner is lovely, and the shaved ice is simply amazing. I discovered this place a couple of months ago and have been returning almost every weekend. The Dreamicle shaved ice, combined with ice cream and condensed milk, is an absolute heavenly experience!

Me and my son were super excited to try this place and we were definitely let down! Overpriced and not flavorful at all, then the customer service was not great either. Total let down! Not worth it in my opinion.

See the photo it says open. It’s 745 on a Friday night, the listing says close at 9 and they closed it. No courtesy.

Used to be a great place but lately we’ve been coming here an hour and a half if we’re the closing time and they close and lock everything down and they don’t have any reasoning for it either and they don’t update their Google maps listing this is unacceptable for a business. I think they’re gonna go out of business soon.

It happened to be very hot so they were very busy this particular day. They worked as fast as they physically could. Great teamwork!! Love how friendly and apologetic staff was. They had smiles in a chaotic situation. I watched and clearly heard them communicating with each other who was doing what and checking in when they needed help. Awesome work!! It was a great privilege to witness hard work & happy customers. My son & I really cooled down enjoying our tigers blood flavored shaved ice. Give❤&👏!!

This is my must stop by place anytime I pass through Modesto! I'm from Fresno , but found this place while working out there one day. I travel to Sacramento often and WILL NOT pass on the opportunity to try something new on their menu. Great selections. Great prices. Great service always.

A must try in Modesto! Their shaved ice is so smooth and always delicious. They have amazing flavors. We come for their shaved ice, but they have other items like kettle corn and iced coffee. It's such a cute place and the staff is friendly. The perfect hangout spot on a hot summer day

I got the Tuxedo with Expresso! Delicious highly recommended. Bathroom clean ocean theme. Overall great vibes and a cool spot to chill with friends or family in this Cali heat wave. My cousin got Bubblegum shave ice and spilled a bit but workers had such a positive attitude. Will definitely come again soon.
