Ramen 101 ~ Modesto

Best ramen spot in Modesto! I’ve been coming since they first opened and they’ve definitely improved. I recommend getting the tonkotsu ramen, regular spice (which imo is pretty spicy but gives a hella good flavor), and an extra egg!

The atmosphere is incredible and comfortable! Great quality food and very fast service. Fresh ingredients too 🍜🍜🍜

This was my first time trying Ramen 101 and I was very pleased the black garlic Ramen was enough for two bowls. Big gyoza and lumpia we're very tasty! I will definitely go back

A cozy little nook where ramen meets a touch of Hawaiian flair—without getting too fusion-crazy. Service was great! I went for the Tonkatsu ramen, cranked up with extra spice. The broth was fine, though it didn’t quite shout "I’m here!" and the heat came from more of a Szechuan pepper kind of vibe than a fiery kick. The pork? Absolutely the star of the show, tender and flavorful. It wasn’t love at first slurp, but on a chilly night, it’s just the kind of comforting bowl you’ll be glad to have around.

Wasn't feeling well. Decided to order some soup, specifically ordered grilled chicken with no green onions or brussel sprouts and that's literally all they put on there and then I had to go back for them to fix it and I didn't feel like doing that. I didn't feel well. I didn't want to do that. Very unhappy.

Insanely fast service. Food was ready for me, before I was ready for it! Ramen was absolutely delicious, arguably some of the best ramen I'd ever had. Prices were reasonable and seating was nice. Would definitely come back to try some other flavors or even non ramen items.

Probably the worst ramen I've had, personally. You know it's bad when the only flavorful thing in your bowl is the egg :/

The service here was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and attentive staff. I had the seafood ramen spicy. Hands down the best ramen in Modesto. Friendly staff, great service, and food was out super fast. We will definitely be back soon

A Hidden Gem: Ramen 101

After a disappointing experience at another ramen place closer to home, we decided to give Ramen 101 a try—and we're so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that instantly lifted our spirits. The staff here are incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a great meal.

As for the ramen—wow! The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Each bite was a delightful experience, reminding us of what ramen should truly taste like. It's clear that Ramen 101 takes great pride in their craft.

We've found our new favorite spot, and it’s definitely worth the extra drive. If you're looking for exceptional ramen and outstanding service, Ramen 101 is the place to go. We’ll be back!
